the heads I think we could not find
not it is burnt books in fact if
there for that no you have already seen a
such gross torrent of books or not and
Well, that’s called deflowering
good there are smoke detectors and
all so we’ll go a little bit to the
sadistic
concretely I have two books ago
a book he was written by a
Belgian and a book I’m the one who got it
written like on a fake asses you know
which I burned know what is said
it’s the best ones who go
first so that makes me a little hit i
man with the heart daddy to tear a page
of my own purpose that one is burnt
in front of you like that and more question
pyromania i’m not amaze you
is that with my mouth we can ask
questions via yeah that goes quickly in
gimlet
we will stop to avoid them
all that a good page the experience
stop there because if I cram the
booklet actually there you go out all
concretely good what am I in
doing and that’s what we do the
nature every day ie there
I snatched a page is burnt a
tiny fire letters nature
it’s a library
nature is a library each
species is a book and when one
destroy a species it’s a book
that we destroy here the page that I have
cremate if you want the letters that has
it still exists in others
books the value of a book to
helping him that in your opinion in the paper
or in the letters
if one were to keep only one of the
letters or the paper the letters because
that you can have a book without
papers today it is possible there is
pdf etc
it’s playable but a book without
it is not possible
and the letters from elsewhere it’s this
that they do that ancient books so
we have managed it’s not their
wax tablets it’s not their
clay tablets this is their letter the
oral traditions and that’s it’s the
nature is nature by micha
said he had to say will die but when
I say dying people understand when
I say michel no more then it’s at home
you this is visible in Brussels at
fin de siècle museum
and yes I say it’s at home you have
well understood i am french
nobody is perfect
and nature is a library
that’s really the subject I would like
come back so this book of the blow I the
keep
here I have kept here because
you will see that he is really
interesting it was written by a
so a Belgian gunter pauli who poses a
very simple idea is that during 300
years we lived in the idea that nature
and industry we could not have the
two that is where there is
the job is not of nature that’s the
city and where there is city there is
where there is forgiveness job is
no nature is the opinion of the hoya
nature there is no job this is the
campaign and we can not have both
natures and job it’s not playable and
it’s been three hundred years that we live in
this idea there that you can not
to have nature and prosperity at the same
time that there is necessarily one of
two who will die and for the moment not
to create prosperity have destroyed
nature
in fact that’s a lie we can
to have both nature is a
golden girls that’s it’s the first
point see them all in gold their what
what can be said about nature after
this culture he was not looking too far
she is well gaulé good nature is
beautiful
the economic value of the beauty of
nature is obvious to me I want
to say an apartment overlooking park a
more value than an apartment with
parking view until then and new
york
they did central park manhattan
it is one of the most expensive real estate
in the world
they still have to mobilize
land to do central park and
Central Park is bigger than Monaco
we can make monaco hold in central
park which is the most expensive land at
world hours but whether you say or new
york and asia we burn everything and then
puts buildings they would say no so
nature’s beauty
it’s already obvious as any
as an economic value but I’m going
to show you that in fact she also has a
value well beyond and not just his
beauty that she values in the 21st
century nature and employment will work
together because nature is the
best economist on earth then
getting into the thick of it this is
the new apple campus
they are filthy rich it was their
cost 4 billion when he phones
at their apple banks the bank responds
your account and creditors of the gdp of
Qatar
plus the French defense budget and
when I say his brick 1 and 10 bad
example that’s bagdad it’s me
influenced apple is actually bagdad
it was the silicon valley of the time
that’s where the word comes from
algorithms and the word algebra and
send it in both cases there are
really the idea that we extract from the
knowledge and that nature is at
heart of the city in the heart of the city
there is a garden
what a symbol of paradise it is bagdad
before oil and bagdad before the
oil was much richer than
baghdad after the baghdad crucible of the
knowledge
what they were selling to the world was
the world’s capital knowledge of
mathematics so when we extract from
the knowledge
we are richer than when we extract
oil and that’s not new
it was valid in Baghdad but it’s
still valid today for apple
it’s valid for facebook worth 300
billion on the stock market while total is worth
90
total makes oil facebook made of
give it if you extract from the
knowledge you are richer than
if you express oil and I
do not know a single acp country in
the economy is based on the
knowledge that they are less rich
per capita than a country whose economy
is based on oil
so when you dig oil at
after a while you hit the bottom
but when you dig the
knowledge
when do you hit the bottom to
what time does it make you say that?
I extracted all the knowledge
possible
so to get back to nature that
it’s a diatom and its skeleton
is made of glass so silicon oxide
when nature makes silicon that
looks like that when we make it
silicon it looks like that the
memory of your phones that
looks like that you see where I want
come
that’s the nature that’s us
it’s actually an alga and there are some
look there because we are enough
close to the mayor for who we are in
the air these are diatoms and she
prints silicon better than us
are really in a drop of water
sea you have electronic chips
intel coral seven who float and she
she floats arguing since 60
millions of years the bougresses because
that it’s been 60 million years since
seaweed know how to do it so the
nature puts us slaps in
permanence products processes nature
do better than give us a little
example all stupid samsung and u17 small
dry this little is pioli of the
samsung study it in your opinion
Why
samsung and it’s not a pet shop
why he studies this from all
peoples of gaulle the belgians are the
arm price I do not start my car in
coming home I agree
in fact it’s the best known screen
on earth it’s the best known screen
on earth we do not know any screen
more powerful than this little dryer
it’s called an optical
metamaterials so there have been the led
there was the amoled there were plasmas there
there was lcd and the new flat screens
in fact, that’s what I concretely
not kidding it’s a rate of
refresh over screens
commercial it can be crumpled
self repairs it consumes less
of energy and today the big
companies that make screens and
u17 small dryer
so you imagine it’s a bit
as if you had a written exam
I had an exam and the exam is the
new screens to dissert here you are
are ten years old and in this review bayal
samsung pupils there is the student lg via
the apple pupil who are there in the process of
floor to try to solve the
problem
but the samsung pupil in his pocket he
to the small dry that gives it all
the answers
so it’s a cheat
idrissa berkane humorist wedding
first communion bar mitzvah good the
this is the nature she has a cv
in gold in fact the nature it takes the
recruit
if you want poor nature we have it
attacked on his resume
We attacked him and made him believe
that she was not an economist by
example nature is the best
economist on earth there is no
of economy this more powerful than the
nature in celebration today it’s she
who knows how to create wealth
and if we create wealth like it
we will be even richer and safe
that we will not destroy it continues a
little visit told you the nature is
library
each organism is a book and in the
Book well you have paragraphs
with technical solutions of
sketch of architects what you want
a little stupid example when I
told you we’re going to do the cv of the
nature I showed you the prices she
already won this is a small
mushroom it’s called the internet of the
forest connects them there trees
it takes the waste from a tree he
gives another tree in the form of
nutrients and he’s using it in passing
that he has a business model that works
and this mushroom it is able as
it’s connecting a lot of trees between
them well there is a researcher at oxford
who’s called mark tricker who wanted
test it to see a little how it
was distributing things so he takes
a petri dish and put it there
mushroom in london on this map of
united kingdom so he puts the mushroom to
london and put pieces of
oatmeal on the big cities
to see how the mushroom will go
pick them up and come back 48 hours more
late and he has a map of the rail network
British better than the map
existing
so map existing 150 years of
generations of engineers 48 hours
for a beach mushroom
and this little yellow thing in fact it does
in mathematics so-called of the
transport theory it’s a theory
mathematical that was created by
gaspard monge in the 19th century and the
problems that fall under the theory
transportation transport is very
complicated we can say that nature
at the medal fields
we can really say that she has the price
nobel of mathematics if you want
the medal fields so that’s it
already done on his cv hockey see the
remains the eiffel tower because when
even after a while it’s a bit
important to bring civilization
from henri country good there quite
the man is lighter than the
cylinder of air that contains it she is
lighter than if she saw the
air cylinder there in fact they
weigh heavier than the tower
same and this performance she is
made possible because the eiffel tower
was inspired by the human eye
the pillars carrying the eiffel tower
are inspired from human bones so in
did the engineer dfl who was called
koechlin he had studied zoos
humans in Switzerland
it annoys me every time and he had
discovered that human zoos are
gaps are very powerful done
the opaque humans of birds etc
they put matter only where
there is tension so in fact they
are hollow they are basically
digs it makes them very resistant and
very light for their resistance
boom the Eiffel Tower where a whole bunch of
points and so it’s the natural to a
price pritzker also architectural price
this little shell
it is very toxic you saw
flashy already he’s flashy in the
nature in general what is flashy and
poisonous it’s a rule it’s flashy
venomous there are plenty of animals that
check this rule the bees the
wasps the amanita kills fly kim
kardashian the queen of england
roselyne bachelot and so is this little
shell is no exception
it is very very very toxic
in your opinion then suddenly its molecule
its toxin is very powerful and a
potent toxin in biology it’s worth
a lot of money I will not go back
in the details but a toxin
powerful it actually means that she
is accurate and a toxin accurate that
has no price in biotechnology the
blow they go blind
how much do you think
we are going to leave the gold we are going to fix the
very high bar
ah the 35000 euros the kilo which says better
go ahead it’s not like it was
your money 1 million + + fabien 6
millions there are some who will leave
with age at 101 100 million it’s
the more you have reached the limit I you
lets do the math 800 million
dollars per kilo gold and platinum it’s
garden potting comparis no but
you’re kidding but it’s not even a
valve in fact ie if you
have fun if you have fun calculating
the number of bags of potting soil to
geraniums that you can buy with
a gold bar
yes I calculated this figure my life
it’s shit
Well, you’ll see it’s the same
number of gold bars that you can
buy with a kilo of mu connaught
oxides that seashell that can you
sometimes produce up to 1 milligram
per month well it’s sold on the
markets
3 dollars as a souvenir to say the
dudes the pech he kills him and then they the
sell three dollars as a souvenir there
I have a business model that works
so imagine I offer you
I offer you a tiffany ring in a
box you throw it down there that you
keep the box if you do that
are a technically chimpanzee
lascars are brought it’s funny the
box it’s clap clap it’s funny
this good a chimpanzee wanted die a
book wanted to search a book not
seriousness typically mine wrong
modesty
obviously they’re seeing it
as a physical object
the poor beast is by an object
intellectual is a physical object
in nature we see it as an object
physical while it’s not an object
physical only it is also an object
intellectual nature is a book
again what is precious
in it’s what’s written us the
nature we see it as something that we
can eat or who can we eat so
of the convoy the material dimension but
the immaterial dimension first a
it’s worth a lot more money but
two precisely if we protect it we do not
do not destroy nature
if you inherited a library
of your pp and the best way to
make money with it’s not the
sell by the kilo these two rented by
example it is a library must not
sell books by the kilo nature
that’s how we really treat her
to say you have inherited once again
of 15 shelves with books
on it and you say super g power
become a shelves merchant it’s this
that we do with nature today at
Brazil is cram to make soy
so the space we will keep the land
then everything that was on the
shelves we burn it no interest
nature is a fool let it be giant
I let you visualize solid and
sincere and we see that the truth
are students who are not
known the soil it’s it’s a piece of
chicken and it’s called the soil it’s this
because it’s thrown away when in fact
it’s super good here it is
to say that will change your life this
kind of information agrees but the
nature we throw the best
if nature was an oyster
would throw the pearl in would keep the
naughty so you may have
heard about this project this is the
raft of the peaks
well that’s maybe if you count
that nature is a source of
knowledge and that knowledge that
worth more than oil
and although this is new derrick May
was not afraid that I could
do it this valve we agree
there are some who feel guilty of
to have understood it in must not do
springing the matter of nature must
make the knowledge spring
conclusion of all this because the
Nature has seen in fifteen medals
pritzker prizes nobel prize winners
chemistry there with its its little toxins in
does what this gentleman says so who has
writing this book is that nature
also it’s the best manager both
best economists
if we did like nature would have
no waste because in nature
there is no waste when the leaves
fall trees do not organize
collection system and subsidized
not the earthworms
so concretely nature she comes
to work without waste what says
this gentleman is rubbish more
knowledge equals equal wealth
job let’s put that into practice the coffee
in fact when you drink a cup of coffee
only 0% of the biomass is used
it’s stupid the rest and throw y rotten
ferment makes gas that recovers
not hungry it’s not effective actually
can grow mushrooms on the
coffee is the best march is the
best postman in the world
the coffee grounds so this girl
created a brand of coffee instructions
and so the marsh made available by
example in rotterdam
they have redeveloped an old
pool in mushroom so they
take the coffee grounds then funds
Cheetah Khemais attacked Ganoderma
oyster mushrooms who are in rotterdam
magic mushrooms also with marc
of coffee you can make a textile
who kills odors because coffee
it kills the smells so this gentleman who
created the brand nescafé
well he has a textile deodorants
who sells to sports brands but
obviously the best is in lingerie
that’s where we walk the most
I present to you the hand the mark
Sorella I love their slogan is learned
your coffee today it does not make you
laugh that joke there match jokes
where immediately with the coffee grounds
we can make a material also a
kind of polystyrene I present to you
and ben donors and kevin mcintyre we
did such an x by the way and did it
on how he gets to do this bio
polystyrene made from coffee grounds
is not that they grow
mushrooms in fact actually
so they grow mushrooms
who invade the mold see the mold
behind them the next invaded tac and that
does this bio polystyrene completely
biodegradable so in summary that’s it
nature
the beautiful and smart is the price
nobel of physics of chemistry of medicine
of saving the planet price pritzker
medal fields what you want it
has a nba
that’s what gunter pauli says a master
of brilliant adaptation and we need to
change the way we see it because
that for the moment the mistreat but he
is clear that if humanity divorces
nature she can not return
to live with his parents is also
simple that that is to say that either
we treat our marriage with her
well it’s us who digs how we
humans we were called as
what species is what our name is
species homo sapiens sapiens there is more
excuse we self baptized man
wise wise there were sapiens
neanderthalensis who was burying his dead
that had a cranial box
superior to ours 1.8 we it’s
1,3 but we have self baptized
modestly homo sapiens sapiens I
manages n 6 so the question is that
what is homo sapiens we are
we are homo sapiens material n 6 no on
decided not to call himself that or
are we homo sapiens sapiens
for real it is to conclude
I would like to give myself to a small
experience is not going to beg you I have a
little overwhelmed did you do that to yourself
stretch your legs and more
good
that you are all up and well you
all up there like that all of you
lifted well in a row is what you
know what it’s like the way the
more cunning to have a standing-ovation
of course thank you
