00:00:11another video today I want to talk about
00:00:12one of my favorite tools to run my
00:00:14business and it’s called 99designs I
00:00:16file it here on my blog of my favorite
00:00:18tools so I’ll just go down and find it
00:00:21here and what you can use 99designs for
00:00:24its basically anything that’s design
00:00:25related for your business so if you need
00:00:28a logo a website business card t-shirt
00:00:31banner ad or whatever it is any kind of
00:00:32design it’s a great place to check out
00:00:34and one of the main reasons why i like
00:00:37it is you’re not actually paying for the
00:00:39work until you get a finished product so
00:00:43most of the time when you’re working
00:00:44with designers you’re working with
00:00:46artists right and and you can look at
00:00:47their past portfolio see what they’ve
00:00:49done but you’re not quite sure what
00:00:51you’re going to get for your project so
00:00:539am designs you’re only paying for a
00:00:56final product which is fantastic for an
00:01:00entrepreneur so i’ll show you hear what
00:01:02I’ve done in the past some of the
00:01:04projects I’ve worked on my contest here
00:01:11so here are three that i’ve done so i
00:01:15had a website header a local and
00:01:17powerpoint the design and an info
00:01:19graphic artist that I’ve hired so in the
00:01:22first one a website header I was looking
00:01:23for someone to you know make a new
00:01:25design for me at the top and I had 12
00:01:27entries and I didn’t like any of them
00:01:29and I didn’t end up paying for the
00:01:32winning design so there was no risk to
00:01:34me except a little bit of time in kind
00:01:36of launching that project logo in
00:01:38PowerPoint design and the info graphic
00:01:40artist I did end up hiring and so again
00:01:42you’re only pain when you get a final
00:01:44design that you actually like and are
00:01:46happy with it and implement into your
00:01:48business which again is fantastic so
00:01:51I’ll show you an example if I click on
00:01:52my info graphic artist what I wanted to
00:01:55do here was get some complex you know
00:01:59content some articles and turn them into
00:02:01cartoons via an infographic and wanted
00:02:04someone to help me do that and I
00:02:07a winning bid here by the lion king so
00:02:10what happens here is you know i’ll post
00:02:12my description and I said I had 154
00:02:15dollars that was my my bid I had 25
00:02:18people who entered into it and basically
00:02:21what will happen is you’ll see this as
00:02:23you go through so people will start
00:02:26submitting designs this is my winning
00:02:28design and you can see all sorts of
00:02:29other designs that people submit and
00:02:32what you can do as you see these designs
00:02:34is leave feedback so you can give them a
00:02:37star rating out of 5 and you can also
00:02:39say you know I really like this design
00:02:41but I’d love to see it with an orange
00:02:43top and then they can come back and give
00:02:46it to you with an orange top so there is
00:02:47a period of time we can communicate with
00:02:49the designer to say what you like what
00:02:51you don’t like and then at the end if
00:02:53you do like one you can pick you know
00:02:56you’re winning designer award them the
00:02:59money but just before that you can also
00:03:01run a poll and so you can see here
00:03:03you’re running a poll one person is
00:03:05voted or create new poll so we can do is
00:03:07you can take your top five designs and
00:03:09maybe you’re not sure because you’ve
00:03:10looked at them so much and you’re not
00:03:12quite sure which when you go with you
00:03:14can create a poll it’ll give you a link
00:03:16you can send it to your friends or your
00:03:18customers or partners or staff or
00:03:19whoever you want to send it to for
00:03:21feedback and they can vote on it so you
00:03:23can say here are my top five designs I
00:03:25want a new infographic I want a new logo
00:03:26what do you guys think and they can all
00:03:29give you their feedback they can leave
00:03:30comments and vote stars and tell you
00:03:33which ones no they like the best to
00:03:35maybe give you some guidance as to which
00:03:37one should pick once that’s done again
00:03:39you can then pick your winning design
00:03:40hire the person if there’s any final
00:03:43tweaks they can make it for you and you
00:03:47have your final design and again the
00:03:49best thing about it is you’re paying for
00:03:50winning design so you know I didn’t
00:03:52quite know what to expect when I had
00:03:54this infographic project I had an
00:03:57article that was top 10 reasons to
00:03:58partner with someone and I wanted to
00:04:00turn it into a cartoon figure and you
00:04:03know people could easily have submitted
00:04:05their BIOS and previous work but again
00:04:08didn’t really know what I would end up
00:04:10getting and if I would like it or not
00:04:12and so through nine Yin and designs
00:04:14you’re only paying for a result which is
00:04:17a fantastic way for an entrepreneur
00:04:18to be able to get some security and
00:04:20knowledge that you’re going to be happy
00:04:22with the end result so encourage you to
00:04:24go check it out for any kind of graphic
00:04:27work that you need done there’s a lot of
00:04:28great designers here really talented and
00:04:30they can help you grow your business so
