00:01:11it’s a tough taskmaster the line
00:01:16advances every seven and a half minutes
00:01:18employees must work efficiently to
00:01:20complete their tasks oh you got a hurry

00:01:29here’s how a motorcycle engine works
00:01:32inside the engine cylinders a spark
00:01:35ignites a mixture of air and fuel this
00:01:37causes an explosion which drives the
00:01:40piston down turning the crankshaft and
00:01:42that rotational force is transmitted
00:01:45through a set of gears in the
00:01:46transmission to the bikes rear wheel the
00:01:51v-rod’s
00:01:51engine build begins with parts about 370
00:01:54of them they’re hand checked for
00:01:56scratches breaks and imperfections in
00:01:58just two hours technicians will assemble
00:02:01this jumble into a working engine the
00:02:04clock starts ticking when they lift the
00:02:05v rods lower engine case on to the sub
00:02:08assembly line first step install the
00:02:12transmission and 5-speed gearing system
00:02:16the v-rod motor puts out an awful lot of
00:02:20horsepower
00:02:21to get that horsepower from the motor to
00:02:24the wheels you need a good solid
00:02:26transmission next the lower case and
00:02:31transmission join the main assembly line
00:02:33from computer-controlled torque guns
00:02:36that screw the individual parts together
00:02:37to heavy lifting manipulators that make
00:02:40moving the heavy parts easy this line
00:02:42comes packed with high-tech help even
00:02:51the silicon dispenser is automated with
00:02:53laser precision it traces the edges of
00:02:56the engine case the result of a perfect
00:02:58seal each part of the v-rod’s engine is
00:03:07designed for performance these are the
00:03:10Pistons to increase combustion and power
00:03:12they’re housed in big bore cylinders the
00:03:15water pump plays a vital part in keeping
00:03:17the high revving engine running cool the
00:03:20engine assembly is nearly complete and
00:03:22to finish it all off chrome clutch and
