00:00:02prototype for an airsoft submachine gun
00:00:06this is going to be modeled off of the
00:00:08pp90m1 you probably know it from the
00:00:11modern warfare game series and it’s a
00:00:16really high rate of fire gun it’s one of
00:00:18the more popular ones and it’s a
00:00:20russian-made gun but the thing that I
00:00:22liked most about it is it has this
00:00:25cylinder that kind of looks like a 12
00:00:27ounce co2 tank and this barrel is gonna
00:00:33be used as this is just brass tubing
00:00:38that I got from a hobby shop they sell
00:00:42it for like model rockets and just any
00:00:44other needs you have and hobby shops are
00:00:47really the only place that I’ve ever
00:00:48seen copper in this type of this type of
00:00:53form like usually if you go to Home
00:00:55Depot they have larger piping for
00:00:58plumbing and all that stuff but you have
00:01:00to go to a hobby shop if you want to
00:01:01find this barrel and it’s the perfect
00:01:03size because it it fits the airsoft BB’s
00:01:07really snug and there’s a lot of there’s
00:01:10not really much gap between their self
00:01:12beeping the actual barrel and I’m sorry
00:01:14I don’t remember the actual diameter of
00:01:18this I think it might be like seventeen
00:01:21thirty Seconds something like that
00:01:24or that might be something different I’m
00:01:26not sure but just go if you go to a
00:01:29hobby shop just taking airsoft BB with
00:01:31you and try it out and that way you’ll
00:01:33be sure that it works so not for that so
00:01:39I have this mechanism here took me a
00:01:42while to get it together but I took a
00:01:45caulking gun these are like a $2 at Home
00:01:48Depot and what I did is I draw it out
00:01:52for rivets on the back here if you can
00:01:55see and then that allowed this entire
00:01:58chassis to just take off you could just
00:02:00take it off and then I flipped it upside
00:02:03down just because I wanted a flat
00:02:05surface on the top for the barrel to for
00:02:08me to mount the barrel on tube and then
00:02:11I just use zip ties to anchor it in
00:02:13place and then
00:02:13just used a bunch of jb weld to keep it
00:02:17anchored and that JB well it is a liquid
00:02:19weld that keeps this thing completely
00:02:22saw like this thing is really sturdy
00:02:24right now it’s I don’t know not worried
00:02:25about it falling apart or anything like
00:02:29that so don’t use hot glue and don’t use
00:02:32epoxy you just sand it down real good
00:02:35get all the paint off of the area that
00:02:37you’re gonna jb weld and then just let
00:02:39it sit overnight and be patient because
00:02:41once the jb weld gets to a certain point
00:02:44it doesn’t it’s not very sturdy so you
00:02:48just want to make sure that it
00:02:49completely cures before you touch it
00:02:53okay so this is a modified version of my
00:02:59last video which was a adapter for going
00:03:04from this type of co2 which is a 1/8
00:03:10inch adapter for 12 ounce paintball
00:03:13cartridges and that’s a quick release
00:03:16valve and then right here is the valve
00:03:19that you use for the innovations ultra
00:03:23flake Plus which is just the co2 bike
00:03:25pump now this thing was really bulky and
00:03:28I couldn’t get a good enough seal so
00:03:31basically what I did is I took my dremel
00:03:33tool and I cut just a tiny bit here
00:03:38about a half an inch maybe 3/4 of an
00:03:42inch and then I took this and just
00:03:46welded it together so basically what you
00:03:48have is these two ends sorry these two
00:03:51ends and they’re just welded at the
00:03:54middle and then it’s okay if there’s a
00:03:56little bit of flare up it’s not if it’s
00:03:58not uniform what I did at the end is
00:04:00just took a grinder wheel and the result
00:04:02was a really nice seal and then I took
00:04:05some shrink wrap tubing and then I put
00:04:09this piece of foam long which I think
00:04:14looks really good so that’s your trigger
00:04:16system now if I haven’t lost you already
00:04:19you still understand what’s going on
00:04:22which I hope you do the next thing I
00:04:25have is the co2 cartridge and how I
00:04:27I’m sorry the co2 tank now you connect
00:04:29it this thing was a pain in the ass to
00:04:34make you need a heat gun which is
00:04:38basically an industrial hairdryer and
00:04:42the reason is because most of this PVC
00:04:45pipe doesn’t fit on this gun on this
00:04:48this caulking gun so you’ll have to make
00:04:50a lot of adjustments and all you have to
00:04:52do is just cut it to the size of the
00:04:54mold of the caulking gun and then heat
00:04:58it up until it’s sort of pliable and
00:05:00then just put some pressure on it and it
00:05:02fits perfectly inside of the caulking
00:05:07gun itself so I have I think this is one
00:05:12and a half inch PVC and then I took that
00:05:15put it on the chassis glued that down
00:05:18after sanding it so you can get a good
00:05:20rough surface so it actually sticks and
00:05:22then I took another piece of PVC and
00:05:25which was I think one and a half inch as
00:05:29well and I just cut a small portion of
00:05:31it just to you can see it right here
00:05:33that’s just to raise the level a little
00:05:36bit and then last you take 3/4 inch PVC
00:05:39and that goes around the adapter that
00:05:42you thread the co2 tank into and then
00:05:47right here you can see how that works
00:05:49and then at the end I had to take my
00:05:52dremel and kind of bore out some of this
00:05:56excess PVC because this little tab here
00:06:00kept getting in the way so I had to
00:06:02lower it even more so what you end up
00:06:06with is this here and allows you to
00:06:10quickly change the co2 which is nice and
00:06:17sturdy enough that it’s gonna stay I
00:06:20also put this hose clamp and that allows
00:06:25me to take everything apart in case I
00:06:27want to use this extension for the co2
00:06:32tank so everything comes back apart all
00:06:35you have to do is loosen this this will
00:06:38come this way and then
00:06:39tank will unscrew to the left and you’ll
00:06:44just have the piece the chassis itself
00:06:46the actual gun so last I had to take 3/4
00:06:53inch PVC I’m sorry this is 1 inch PVC
00:06:55you can see right there PVC one so this
00:06:58is also one inch PVC here I’m sorry and
00:07:00then I took God and I took the PVC and
00:07:07glued it to this little disc here which
00:07:11pushes the caulking material forward if
00:07:14you’re actually using this for caulking
00:07:16gun I mean who does that you know but
00:07:19then I took some black electrical tape
00:07:21and sorry if it’s difficult to see
00:07:24because of the lighting but I just add a
00:07:26little bit extra bulk and then what you
00:07:28have is when you twist this here it
00:07:32moves forward and this is the valve that
00:07:37turns on the co2 tanks so you’ll see
00:07:41you’ll hear the noise of the co2 filling
00:07:44up and this hose tenses up because
00:07:48there’s extra pressure and then so it’s
00:07:54a really strong stream of co2 and then
00:07:58if you want to turn it off you just
00:08:00twist it back just like this and that’s
00:08:08off there’s still some co2 in the actual
00:08:11chamber so I’m just going to leave it so
00:08:18basically this is gonna work the same
00:08:20exact way as my cz 75 pistol which most
00:08:24of my inventions I don’t even use they
00:08:27just go into like a scrap bin so sorry
00:08:31to people that are always like can I buy
00:08:33that from you because it doesn’t really
00:08:35exist anymore it’s just kind of in a
00:08:37little area graveyard of all my projects
00:08:41and stuff so I don’t know if I left
00:08:45anything out I’m gonna have to cut this
00:08:50PVC cut this metal here and then just
00:08:53did all over because as of right now I
00:08:56don’t like how far away the co2
00:08:59cartridges my other option is to not do
00:09:03a submachine gun because it’s already
00:09:07pretty long I was just gonna do a RPG
00:09:10style but I don’t know what I’m gonna do
00:09:13because you have to have a large chamber
00:09:15for the pressure to build up so you can
00:09:18shoot those nerf nerve vortex footballs
00:09:21or whatever and I just don’t know if I
00:09:23have time to do that since I’m already
00:09:26kind of done with this but if I do in
00:09:29the future make one of those rocket
00:09:31launcher things I would do this the
00:09:33exact same way because this this works
00:09:36real well so what else oh I forgot
00:09:42whenever you’re modifying this seesaw
00:09:46PVC I’m sorry
00:09:48cocking gun you have to cut out the
00:09:51extra so that you can actually put that
00:09:54through otherwise the opening is too
00:09:58small and it doesn’t fit that’s what she
00:10:01said so if you guys have any questions I
00:10:08probably won’t be able to help you cuz I
00:10:11don’t even know what I’m doing at the
00:10:12moment but so far I got a decent amount
00:10:17done and I’m pretty happy with the
00:10:21results just hoping that this since
00:10:24everything is hot glued is gonna stay
00:10:26the most important thing when hot gluing
00:10:29things is you have to take really hard
00:10:34what is it take something like sixty
00:10:38grit sandpaper and this is as I think as
00:10:44tough as it gets this is like this is
00:10:47like concrete on the sidewalk you know
00:10:48this is really really rough and you want
00:10:51to just scuff up the PVC as much as
00:10:54possible just to get tiny little
00:10:56surfaces for the glue to adhere to and
00:11:00that will get you a really good a really
00:11:05good seal and a really good
00:11:07adhesion to whatever you want to do so
00:11:11I’ve talked enough if you guys have any

00:11:23don’t know we’ll see what happens but I
00:11:31thought I’d just give you guys a little

00:11:39videos because I’m still taking classes
00:11:42at at school it’s not like I’m not
00:11:45stupid I’m not like taking a summer
00:11:46classes I’m doing like advanced you know
00:11:49summer session which sucks but I guess
