00:00:20for this project you will need an avery
00:00:23highlighter pen mini oil lamp lighter
00:00:27bottle rockets heat shrink tubing and a
00:00:31dremel or sanding tool
00:00:39you will need to use an exacto knife or
00:00:44any other tool to take off this part of
00:00:48your highlighter pen once that’s removed
00:00:53you’ll need to take your dremel and
00:00:57hollow out this cap be sure to get as
00:01:04much of the plastic out as possible in
00:01:07order to fit our oil lamp lighter into
00:01:11it for the body of the lighter you’ll
00:01:16need to use a sanding tool to take off
00:01:23the ridges which keep the cap on the
00:01:27lighter securely and then I’ll allow you
00:01:30to take it off much easier at the bottom
00:01:35of the lighter the highlighter you’ll
00:01:38need to drill a small hole where you’ll
00:01:43thread your fuse through and I put heat
00:01:47shrink tubing there to help protect
00:01:49against the heat of the fuse if you want
00:01:54you can go to hardware store and find
00:01:57brass tubing or aluminum tubing so that
00:02:00your highlighter won’t melt because I’m
00:02:05sure it won’t last forever it’ll
00:02:06eventually just break from the heat
00:02:08exhaustion from bottle rockets the last
00:02:14part is you take your oil-lamp lighter
00:02:22and what you do is you just remove the
00:02:26internals of it
00:02:35and you’re left with this which is the
00:02:40lighter itself and then what you do is
00:02:43after you’ve hollowed out the top of the
00:02:47pen cap it should fit securely inside
00:02:52like so then you take your bottle
00:03:00rockets and you carefully remove the
00:03:05tape depending on whatever pop type
00:03:09water rocket might be different and then
00:03:12the paper and you’re just left with this
00:03:17missile then you take the fuse out and
00:03:25you’ll see a little bit of paper there
00:03:26that’s all right and put that down into
00:03:30your barrel and then straighten out this
00:03:37fuse and stick it through the hole that
00:03:43you drilled and you don’t want to be
00:03:47sure that the bottle rocket is fully
00:03:55down into the chamber so that the fuse
00:03:58will ignite the powder inside and if it
00:04:01gets jammed you can just use the end of
00:04:06it as a ramming rod or whatever it’s
00:04:08called
00:04:10then basically you just take your
00:04:17lighter plate it and light off the fuse
00:04:23and just send it so on
00:04:28when I’ll put together your highlighter
00:04:33rocket pen and hold two rockets inside
00:04:40sometimes they get jammed and the
00:04:50lighter can be refilled from the bottom
00:04:54using any type of lighter fluid like
00:04:58this and then everything just kind of
00:05:04fits right back inside well nice and
00:05:07neat so I mean I don’t really know I
00:05:13thought it was a cool idea kind of like
00:05:16a secret agent thing I guess you could
00:05:20use it as like a signal I don’t really
00:05:22know they’re pretty inaccurate when you
00:05:24shoot them but I just thought it was a
00:05:26cool concept and thought someone out
00:05:28there might think so too so leave a
