Ladies and gentlemen, Elvis has left the building.
Welcome to WatchMojo.com, today we count our top ten of the most shocking rock myths.
That was my best friend, Paul Pfeiffer. Paul was allergic to everything.
It is not as wild as the myth that Marilyn Manson had ribs removed to satisfy themselves orally.
But a younger Brian Warner in “The Wonder Years” is just as crazy.
Are you crazy?
Despite the sharp contrast between Paul Pfeiffer and the “Antichrist Superstar”, it is still difficult to deny the physical similarities.
But, it is actually Josh Saviano who played Kevin Arnold’s best friend, so let this rumor rest.
[Paul]: Okay, maybe it’s a stupid idea.
Sometimes big fans find it difficult to let something go – especially Elvis fans.
[Wadsworth]: On August 23, 1991, I saw Elvis Presley at the Winesburg Inn in Clyde, Ohio.
[Narrator]: Irregularities on his mortality caused some to think that The King had called his death,
and gossip magazines are full of people who swear they have seen him alive and well.
There are also fake death theories about Jim Morrison, since his body never came under autopsy,
and Tupac, who continues to release new music that fans refer to future events
Jimi was almost as famous for his drug use as he was for his guitar skills, so it is not far-fetched that he had found a way to combine the two.
According to the rumors, he hid LSD under his bandana during his performances.
and picked it up with home-made slices on his forehead.
But this is not all: the dubious circumstances surrounding his death encourages a persistent rumor that Hendrix was murdered.
Robert Johnson’s complex style made him a legend.
What is also legendary is how the “King of Mississippi Delta Blues” reportedly got his skills:
by selling his soul to the Devil.
[Milhouse]: Why do not you sell your soul to me?
[Bart]: How much do you have?
[Milhouse]: Five dollars.
[Bart]: Deal.
Some point to his short life, and songs like “Me and the Devil” as proof, but others know that it was talent and hard work.
Another musician who reportedly had a pact with the devil?
Led Zeppelins Jimmy Page.
While this legend is attributed to Elton John, Alanis Morissette, Lil ‘Kim and many others,
he is best known for the sake of Rod Stewart.
The story goes that the Brit helped a fleet of sailors * cough *
when he had to go to the hospital to pump the excess liquid out of his stomach.
But conspiracy theorists held on to murder.
Journalists and filmmakers continue to expand on this by suggesting that his wife Courtney Love was behind it –
as seen in the El Duce interview in “Kurt & Courtney”.
[Interviewer]: You had an agreement with Courtney, did not you?
[El Duce]: Yes.
She offered me fifty thousand dollars to save Kurt Cobain.
[Interviewer]: And yes, what I said.
Most, however, find that there is not enough evidence to prove that it was murder.
An incredible artist who was known for shocking performances, the “Prince of Darkness” was accustomed to animal carcasses on stage
For example, the “Godfather of heavy methal” bit off a pigeon’s head during a CBS records meeting.
But his fans probably thought he was crazy when he bit the head of a bat.
And know well: it was not a rubber doll and no myth.
[Osbourne]: I thought it was such a rubber doll, so I just bit into it, and it was a real bat.
[Narrator]: After the bat bite, Ozzy was tested for rabies.
