Buy or Rent: Gaming Checklist – Replay Value

another thing to consider when you’re

another thing to consider when you’re buying a game is the replay now some of

buying a game is the replay now some of

buying a game is the replay now some of the best games i’ve ever played have

the best games i’ve ever played have

the best games i’ve ever played have some of the worst replay value and that

some of the worst replay value and that

some of the worst replay value and that will actually affect the overall value

will actually affect the overall value

will actually affect the overall value of the game and i think really sort of

of the game and i think really sort of

of the game and i think really sort of make that differentiation between rental

make that differentiation between rental

make that differentiation between rental and purchase a great example of a game

and purchase a great example of a game

and purchase a great example of a game with bad replay but great gameplay is

with bad replay but great gameplay is

with bad replay but great gameplay is metal gear now if you play the metal

metal gear now if you play the metal

metal gear now if you play the metal gear game you know that you know they

gear game you know that you know they

gear game you know that you know they sort of tack on extra modes here and

sort of tack on extra modes here and

sort of tack on extra modes here and there when it comes to the main mission

there when it comes to the main mission

there when it comes to the main mission though there is a sort of freeform miss

though there is a sort of freeform miss

though there is a sort of freeform miss about the gameplay and there’s a lot of

about the gameplay and there’s a lot of

about the gameplay and there’s a lot of ways a level can play out once you’ve

ways a level can play out once you’ve

ways a level can play out once you’ve seen a cinematic or once you’ve seen a

seen a cinematic or once you’ve seen a

seen a cinematic or once you’ve seen a story once it does sort of lose its

story once it does sort of lose its

story once it does sort of lose its overall effect I am really one of the

overall effect I am really one of the

overall effect I am really one of the biggest advocate of the Metal Gear

biggest advocate of the Metal Gear

biggest advocate of the Metal Gear series but for some people i would only

series but for some people i would only

series but for some people i would only actually recommend it as a rental unless

actually recommend it as a rental unless

actually recommend it as a rental unless you really are taken by the experience

you really are taken by the experience

you really are taken by the experience of one actually having your library it

of one actually having your library it

of one actually having your library it might not be the best game to actually

might not be the best game to actually

might not be the best game to actually replay over and over again some of the

replay over and over again some of the

replay over and over again some of the games are the best replay however or

games are the best replay however or

games are the best replay however or obviously I think sports games sports

obviously I think sports games sports

obviously I think sports games sports games really are meant to sort of you

games really are meant to sort of you

games really are meant to sort of you know be picked up and played amongst

know be picked up and played amongst

know be picked up and played amongst friends over and over again and for that

friends over and over again and for that

friends over and over again and for that merit alone are often worth the money if

merit alone are often worth the money if

merit alone are often worth the money if you’re into that sport and if they’ve

you’re into that sport and if they’ve

you’re into that sport and if they’ve actually done a decent job putting

actually done a decent job putting

actually done a decent job putting together the game now is where the case

together the game now is where the case

together the game now is where the case before was that you typically had to

before was that you typically had to

before was that you typically had to have friends over to play games the

have friends over to play games the

have friends over to play games the advent of online gaming has really

advent of online gaming has really

advent of online gaming has really really really done a lot to extend the

really really done a lot to extend the

really really done a lot to extend the replayability of games now on any given

replayability of games now on any given

replayability of games now on any given rainy Saturday you can pick up a

rainy Saturday you can pick up a

rainy Saturday you can pick up a controller and play people from all

controller and play people from all

controller and play people from all around the world and that I think

around the world and that I think

around the world and that I think there’s a huge job to sort of affecting

there’s a huge job to sort of affecting

there’s a huge job to sort of affecting the overall value of the game so really

the overall value of the game so really

the overall value of the game so really when you’re looking at games and you’re

when you’re looking at games and you’re

when you’re looking at games and you’re looking to see whether or not the replay

looking to see whether or not the replay

looking to see whether or not the replay is present you know whether or not it’s

is present you know whether or not it’s

is present you know whether or not it’s a sports game so you know replay is

a sports game so you know replay is

a sports game so you know replay is gonna be there or maybe even a

gonna be there or maybe even a

gonna be there or maybe even a one-player gaming your sort of you know

one-player gaming your sort of you know

one-player gaming your sort of you know iffy about whether or not it’s worth

iffy about whether or not it’s worth

iffy about whether or not it’s worth buying because of replay if you see that

buying because of replay if you see that

buying because of replay if you see that the game supports online right there the

the game supports online right there the

the game supports online right there the replay value is going up many many many

replay value is going up many many many

replay value is going up many many many fold on that alone
