Now I think everyone has at least one unique talent,

One thing that characterizes it.

I believe that my unique talent,

And what I distinguish from anyone else,

Is fraud.

(Laughter)

For me, fraud is what you get

When ambition meets flexibility and rigidity.

It’s the thing that drives you to make something out of nothing.

But the environment from which they come can have a big impact

The way you chose to express your consumption.

I came from an environment where she controlled her visual sight.

Drug addicts, alcohol abusers and prostitutes.

Most people there lived in cramped and low-income housing,

And without luxury,

Or any other form of government assistance.

But in the heart of everything, there were drugs.

There were many ambitious minds in this environment,

Everyone had a desire to be a street swindler.

But most chose illegal ways to express their desire.

These were street swindlers.

The most influential person in my life is, Mom,

The streets were fraudulent.

In the house where you were raised, everyone was like that.

In the 1980s, almost all the males in my family were selling drugs.

In fact, they were drug dealers,

Who represent me, things greater than life.

First childhood memories

The balance used to weigh the huge quantities of cocaine,

Money packages,

And monotonous money counters

Which hears its tinnitus day and night, and the smell of cocaine, which is cooked until it becomes a drug.

This environment has had a great impact on my aspirations.

Even before I could remember, I knew exactly what I wanted to be;

I wanted to be a street swindler.

Maybe you tried anything and everything you could think about in order to make money.

But the vast majority of my time was in the sale of drugs.

This is how you chose to express a fraudulent.

But street fraud has taught me undeniable principles

Which I did not realize at this time.

For example, I have learned to closely understand products,

Supply and demand and what it means to meet customer needs.

I also learned valuable lessons

On operations, distribution and inventory management.

But this is not something unique in my experience.

It is actually very common

For street surfers to acquire these very real principles.

Unfortunately, in this environment,

Do not find time to meditate on the lessons that life taught you.

Of all the things you gain from street fraud,

There remain three main facts.

Fact # 1: The life span of a street sweeper is very short.

It can not be denied that this life is illegal and very dangerous.

Therefore, his fate is always either death or imprisonment.

The second truth: that street fraud is immoral.

The worst moment passed me as a man in the streets

When she sold cocaine to a pregnant girl.

Black teen girl and pregnant woman.

To this day, I remember exactly what she was wearing.

The way her hairstyle, the plastic neon bracelet on her wrist,

And look at her eyes when she put that piece in her hand.

The street crook’s mentality is rooted in exploitation.

The integrity and rigidity of the whole character becomes meaningless.

You learn to exploit the weakness of people in your favor.

The third truth:

That most of them live this life for a long time,

That becomes all they know.

They can not imagine themselves doing anything else.

This is now in place.

It was my refusal to move away from this life

Which will eventually lead me to jail

On charges of assault using a firearm.

The prison gave me time to think.

I realized that I became a virus

Affects and damages almost everything related to it.

This was a wise demonstration,

It will be the driving force for me to do

By doing something positive in my life.

I will abide by that.

Although I realize that my life on the street is over

I still have a problem.

I still have a desire to fraud.

I was still very ambitious.

I could not find any profession I could see myself doing

When I get out of prison, I will achieve this ambition.

This would raise a problem,

I will spend years looking for a solution.

Fortunately, there was a solution in the end

When I arrived here in San Quentin.

Lee (San Quentin) gave me the chance

To complete my tutorial for free,

She has studied a number of business courses related to the college.

During this time, I discovered entrepreneurship.

There was something very familiar about entrepreneurship.

(Laughter)

I found that entrepreneurs have print fraud.

These are the people who routinely venture into things that require

Act quickly and trust in intuition,

They do everything necessary to achieve this.

Then I learned, to my surprise,

That there were not a number of basic entrepreneurial principles

Which she learned unconsciously in the street only

But there are also many similar features

That makes a successful businessman is the same that makes a successful street crook.

For example, they are both beginners and very ambitious, adaptable,

And the most resourceful and powerful.

That’s what I suddenly felt, I found a solution.

It is entrepreneurship.

It was an ideal solution,

Because I found myself preparing a unique preparation to take this profession.

I already have the same characteristics

Successful Entrepreneur.

My life as a street hustler taught me unconsciously

A number of basic principles of entrepreneurship.

More importantly, entrepreneurship allowed me to satisfy my ambition

By allowing me to use my strongest features they are fraudulent but in a fruitful way.

This disclosure led to a rational, manic entrepreneurial increase.

I soon began to think about how this could benefit others like me.

As you can see, I believed that entrepreneurship is the means

Which allows street performers a successful transition

Of street life.

I think the most effective way to convince them of this idea

Is the use of street protesters imprisoned

To convince them.

Think about it.

The prison will give these people time

To think about the extent of destruction caused by the street on their lives,

So they will accept the idea more.

The fact that they were jailed would be in their favor.

As you can see, the exploitation of time is very important in street life.

So, at the time they are released they will be able to exploit the truth

They were in jail to gain credibility.

This will be the credibility that will allow them to spread this idea to others.

In addition, entrepreneurship provides inmates with street traffic

A valuable tool that helps them not to relapse.

This has been demonstrated.

Here in San Quentin, there is a program called “The Last Mile” that teaches prisoners

To turn ideas into realistic business using entrepreneurship.

So far, graduates of this program who have been released and returned to society

They have a zero-percent relapse rate.

(clap)

So I say that it is time for all of us to expand our usefulness that we envision

Of entrepreneurship.

Let us look at this as more than just a concept of business.

Let’s look at it as a rehabilitation tool

Which would prepare the perpetrators of the streets

In ways that enable them to fully exploit their potential.

thank you.

(Applause) (Cheers)
