how do they motivate someone to

nothing do something bright

That was the question I prepared me

make it

while I was doing this

lecture how do you tell someone

how it drives someone to that of the

nothing do a whole and after having

meditated several times with my

coworkers and friends

the answer is simple and it was there

we are all born bright

we are all born with the ability to

achieve any goal and form

extraordinary

we just need to create it and

once we do what we manifest

in our life in our work with

our friends in the discovery of

The science

when I started my studies

university students and I was lucky to

choosing a career in my mind had

two possibilities or art or chemistry

because I’m passionate about art

investigation in the beginning

I chose art and when I went to tell them

to my parents who had chosen me

race they told me that it was fine but

and what are you going to live on and your

concern is understandable because

several years ago in our country in

our city was not given to art

importance that is being given and I think

that is still missing a lot because everything in the

life is art

I chose my second option not for less

important not to like me – engineering

chemistry and from that decision I do not

repented because the achieved what I have

dear state where I had to be

and achieved what I wanted to achieve and

it was thanks to the love that I have for

art already

knowledge that little by little I went

acquiring in chemistry that can

perform my thesis in the development of

materials for artistic designs and

dagger the chance or the fate that

They put in your life to people

adequate

equally passionate art to

research like you who was gabi

puning and the group of collaborators between

chemical engineers and biologists that we

helped to carry out this project and so

was born the central idea of my work in

our work find a material

that allows us to develop works

artistic and good looking inquiring

new materials that are innovative and

above all ecologically sustainable

at the beginning we did not notice that the same

nature gives you the materials

needed to do their job and

it was at that moment that we focused

in using such simple materials

as they are organic waste between them

the tubers husks of dad and

Chinese dad and roots like yucca

for obtaining the raw material

of our material that was the starch

and through a simple process of

anaerobic fermentation that entails the

the hydrolysis of the material

fermentation itself the decanting of

biomass and finally obtaining the

lactic acid we were able to obtain the

material that we needed

that is to say the poly lactic acid or fight

the poly lactic acid is a polymer

and a polymer is a macromolecule is

say a gigantic molecule that

composed of smaller units and in

this case is lactic acid once

that we got the material

we started with the design of our

works between one of them those that

show image

but the project did not end there to see

the multiple applications and

properties that the fight has and over

all that is ecologically friendly

that is, it degrades in water

I made two closing a clean cycle of

degradation and after seeing how the

contamination suffered by the planet

more than give us a wake-up call

gave us a new idea that is to say the

project that started with a focus

artistic had another goal the

development of materials for daily use and

when modifying certain properties is

say physical chemical properties like

its molecular weight structure temperature

of glass transition we were able to obtain

a new approach to our project

among the materials that the

image

when I started my graduate studies

and trip to Mexico City to

start masters in materials

specifically in polymers in the

National Polytechnic Institute

when I came to the laboratory for me

surprise one of the materials that they

they used was the poly lactic acid and

to myself I said to the area only

great pride what but they do not

they used neither for art nor for

production of materials for daily use

they use it for biomedicine and it was

in that moment I finished

Mexican for my career to fascinate me

I ended up passionate about my career

because I never got to imagine that

with my profession and will be able to help

cope with such difficult diseases

like diabetes cancer hypertension and in

that moment the project that started from

something as simple as the

organic waste had a new

focus

The material can be used for

development of regeneration tissues

of support or

the implants that in the best of the

cases besides coming to replace the

organ allows the regeneration of

same and its correct it works

currently operating me

meeting is taking my second year of

PhD in the same institution and I

my research is about the

development of devices

that is to say

devices capable of being implanted

in the body and release so

focused the drug to the organ

affected especially in cases of

chemotherapy and one of my biggest

satisfactions is that the material with

the one that works is the same paul and acid

lactic that we use it what

we elaborated several years ago in the

Technical University

so I can only tell you that I do not

stop because it’s easy to stop

before any small obstacle

touch-ups in your work in your life is what

that are going to make big changes and about

all have in mind that we are

who we create science and all

creation of sonar p

thank you very much
