I believe that the fastest and most effective way to grow a business is to formulate the strategies of people who have done what they are trying to do
Therefore, we will learn today how a student who did not complete secondary school has become a homeless person in public toilets
And this is not the course of his life and became a millionaire and built one of the most successful brokerage firms in America
This is the story of Chris Gardner and the three most important lessons you can learn from his success story.
Chris Gardner was the only son among 12 children raised by a single woman
His mother worked as a schoolteacher but ended up working in a number of part-time jobs to meet her family’s needs.
Gardner and his brothers moved back and forth between their relatives and nurseries
His mother entered the prison twice, the first time claiming to receive interest during her work,
And the second time because of her attempt to burn the home of the abusive husband Gardner’s mother
Gardner’s hopes were limited by his origins in such an environment
Through a sales call, Gardner met a man who was elegant and led by Ferrari
As fate would have it, the Ferrari captain was a stockbroker and Garden heard that the man was making more than $ 800,000 a month
He is convinced that he will build his future on investment, since he is not educated and has no experience or knowledge
But this did not prevent Gardner from realizing his dream. When he decided to become a broker in the stock exchange, Gardner immediately planned to look for an investment company that would give him the opportunity
In a brokerage firm, Gardner finally found the manager of the training program he was happy to train
But when Gardner went to his first day of work, he found the manager he hired had been kicked out
No one heard of Gardner or his new post.
He left disappointed
Yet he never failed to realize his dreams
He continued to search for an investment company, employing strange jobs to be able to pay his bills at the time.
San Francisco’s Dean Witter Financial Brokerage was interested in hiring Gardner
But he refused to take the job 10 months before his interview, which was certainly 10 months exhausted.
Jadner came to his first interviews wearing a shirt and dirty pants
He could have created a heroic story to justify his appearance, but in turn he had decided to tell the truth
In clear terms, Gardner told the person he had met with the story of his mother, who was working for this broken child and had been released from prison the day before.
Fortunately, the person he met was newly married with complicated divorce circumstances and had sympathy for Gardner
He immediately gave him a job position in the company’s training program.
In 1987, Gardner opened his own brokerage firm in Chicago
Gardner became wealthy and quickly began acquiring important clients for his new company, including the retirement fund of the Chicago Teachers Union
From then on his work continued to grow and Gardner did not think in the past.
Gardner did not make his past bind him and focused on his future vision, which made him become a millionaire man after he was homeless
To help you develop your business, here are three steps you can learn from Chris Gardner

Turn your enthusiasm towards something.
Entrepreneurship: You must love what you do,

Gardner finally found something he loved and sparked his enthusiasm and was not a moment of passing happiness
According to Gardner, you must be committed and find something you love
Everything you will do will be difficult
But find something that ignites your passion so much that you want to rise early because you want to go for your business
Do something that makes you happy and makes you feel good about yourself
No matter how much money is with you, it does not matter how easy it is to do because if you are not happy you represent nothing more than a prisoner of your talent and owner
The second step:
Be the best you can be
As an entrepreneur you should not regret trying hard
If the company does not give you the space to offer the best you have then you will be frustrated but you will be able to live with it
But if you do not provide everything you can offer, you will wonder what would happen if I tried harder
Do not make any excuse to say “I did my best”
Gardner is credited for his mother and her spirit that encouraged him to dream big dreams and seek to become the best
Gardner’s mother was a natural teacher who liked to practice and create a profession
But after her husband abandoned her, she found herself responsible for caring for 12 children on her own
She sacrificed her dream of teaching to work in part-time jobs that could cover the needs of the family
Yet she supported Gardner to become the best in everything he does
This commitment to become the best in something that can not be forgotten and continues to work to become the best in everything
As Gardner said: “Taking the shape of your eyes from your father and your nose from your mother is something you can not change
But your spirit and your character can choose, adopt and abide by it and this is what you do
Although my mother shattered her dreams, she convinced me that my dreams were possible

But most people do not know that Gardner has faced a harder life than the movie
He and his son slept many times in underground train tunnels and toilets because they needed money to eat
Even during the period of his training to become a broker did not pay him enough money to find a shelter he and his son
However, after finishing his training he became a full time broker in the field of retail real estate
But still lacks enough money to secure a permanent home.
What was to happen until Jerry Shimano offered him a job that changed his life.
