to be I’m not finished with it yet so
to be I’m not finished with it yet so just thought I’d show you the prototype
just thought I’d show you the prototype
just thought I’d show you the prototype so far good thing about this is that
so far good thing about this is that
so far good thing about this is that it’s only gonna cost three dollars and
it’s only gonna cost three dollars and
it’s only gonna cost three dollars and it is a mini handheld flamethrower so
it is a mini handheld flamethrower so
it is a mini handheld flamethrower so the way it works you buy one of these
the way it works you buy one of these
the way it works you buy one of these lighters also a dollar two screws top
lighters also a dollar two screws top
lighters also a dollar two screws top pull off this ring and it just kind of
pull off this ring and it just kind of
pull off this ring and it just kind of all comes apart this one’s already been
all comes apart this one’s already been
all comes apart this one’s already been dissected so you’re left with one of
dissected so you’re left with one of
dissected so you’re left with one of these now also at the top you’ll have a
these now also at the top you’ll have a
these now also at the top you’ll have a little I’m sorry let me focus that yeah
little I’m sorry let me focus that yeah
little I’m sorry let me focus that yeah you can see a little piece of metal you
you can see a little piece of metal you
you can see a little piece of metal you cut that off it was originally like a
cut that off it was originally like a
cut that off it was originally like a couple centimeters long it kind of looks
couple centimeters long it kind of looks
couple centimeters long it kind of looks like this a little piece of metal you
like this a little piece of metal you
like this a little piece of metal you just cut that off so these are
just cut that off so these are
just cut that off so these are refillable that’s what you do take
refillable that’s what you do take
refillable that’s what you do take stapler
stapler
stapler sorry this already been taken apart it’s
sorry this already been taken apart it’s
sorry this already been taken apart it’s the only one I had so I can’t really
the only one I had so I can’t really
the only one I had so I can’t really show you the whole process but basically
show you the whole process but basically
show you the whole process but basically yeah this stapler just imagine all the
yeah this stapler just imagine all the
yeah this stapler just imagine all the plastic all around it whatever and
plastic all around it whatever and
plastic all around it whatever and there’s a little axle going through use
there’s a little axle going through use
there’s a little axle going through use a dremel or drill to drill through that
a dremel or drill to drill through that
a dremel or drill to drill through that take out the axle it’ll be a little bar
take out the axle it’ll be a little bar
take out the axle it’ll be a little bar here with a spring on it you want to rip
here with a spring on it you want to rip
here with a spring on it you want to rip that off and make sure you preserve a
that off and make sure you preserve a
that off and make sure you preserve a little tab which originally the tab was
little tab which originally the tab was
little tab which originally the tab was 90 degrees and you just kind of flatten
90 degrees and you just kind of flatten
90 degrees and you just kind of flatten that out you take some hanger copper
that out you take some hanger copper
that out you take some hanger copper copper hanger or whatever looks like
copper hanger or whatever looks like
copper hanger or whatever looks like this
this
this just cut to that bend into that size and
just cut to that bend into that size and
just cut to that bend into that size and it’s gonna take a little trial and error
it’s gonna take a little trial and error
it’s gonna take a little trial and error to make sure that when you take your
to make sure that when you take your
to make sure that when you take your butane cartridge that when you slide it
butane cartridge that when you slide it
butane cartridge that when you slide it up that it’s gonna meet the button right
up that it’s gonna meet the button right
up that it’s gonna meet the button right here so basically what you do is press
here so basically what you do is press
here so basically what you do is press this forward and the little hook here
this forward and the little hook here
this forward and the little hook here which you solder in you can see the
which you solder in you can see the
which you solder in you can see the silver solder there you can solder you
silver solder there you can solder you
silver solder there you can solder you can glue you can just make sure it’s
can glue you can just make sure it’s
can glue you can just make sure it’s strong enough that it’s not gonna budge
strong enough that it’s not gonna budge
strong enough that it’s not gonna budge solder worked fine for me but you could
solder worked fine for me but you could
solder worked fine for me but you could use epoxy I don’t know just keep it in
use epoxy I don’t know just keep it in
use epoxy I don’t know just keep it in there so and then you just kind of push
there so and then you just kind of push
there so and then you just kind of push this forward this one’s empty but you’re
this forward this one’s empty but you’re
this forward this one’s empty but you’re probably here’s a little fizzing and
that releases the butane now for the
that releases the butane now for the flame is the other part of the Flint and
flame is the other part of the Flint and
flame is the other part of the Flint and the hangar or the sorry stapler and this
the hangar or the sorry stapler and this
the hangar or the sorry stapler and this is where the lighter comes in at the
is where the lighter comes in at the
is where the lighter comes in at the dollar store I bought these from is
dollar store I bought these from is
dollar store I bought these from is three for a dollar so doesn’t really
three for a dollar so doesn’t really
three for a dollar so doesn’t really matter if you break them take off this
matter if you break them take off this
matter if you break them take off this little metal guard here and you need
little metal guard here and you need
little metal guard here and you need this piece of this black Flint so this
this piece of this black Flint so this
this piece of this black Flint so this one’s broken but I’m just showing you so
one’s broken but I’m just showing you so
one’s broken but I’m just showing you so you get the idea it’s a pain in the ass
you get the idea it’s a pain in the ass
you get the idea it’s a pain in the ass to get this off so you actually just
to get this off so you actually just
to get this off so you actually just have to smash this part right here it’s
have to smash this part right here it’s
have to smash this part right here it’s hollow so once that comes off you have
hollow so once that comes off you have
hollow so once that comes off you have your Flint and it just happens that the
your Flint and it just happens that the
your Flint and it just happens that the part of the stapler works perfectly
part of the stapler works perfectly
part of the stapler works perfectly because this spring that’s stored in
because this spring that’s stored in
because this spring that’s stored in this part right here fits perfectly
this part right here fits perfectly
this part right here fits perfectly right there so this is just a prototype
right there so this is just a prototype
right there so this is just a prototype I’m gonna clean everything up later but
I’m gonna clean everything up later but
I’m gonna clean everything up later but I figure I haven’t shown you guys the
I figure I haven’t shown you guys the
I figure I haven’t shown you guys the video in a while it’s been almost a
video in a while it’s been almost a
video in a while it’s been almost a month so I give you something to look
month so I give you something to look
month so I give you something to look forward to here I’ll show you what I’ve
forward to here I’ll show you what I’ve
forward to here I’ll show you what I’ve been doing I’m forgot about you guys
been doing I’m forgot about you guys
been doing I’m forgot about you guys so so yeah the cool thing about it it’s
so so yeah the cool thing about it it’s
so so yeah the cool thing about it it’s only three bucks you can find unless all
only three bucks you can find unless all
only three bucks you can find unless all this in your house I guarantee it
the only thing you need to do create
the only thing you need to do create something similar to the highlighter
something similar to the highlighter
something similar to the highlighter rocket just like just how you have the
rocket just like just how you have the
rocket just like just how you have the Flint and the mini oil lamp which is
Flint and the mini oil lamp which is
Flint and the mini oil lamp which is kind of like all it is is a wick with
kind of like all it is is a wick with
kind of like all it is is a wick with butane I’m sorry lighter fluid so I’m
butane I’m sorry lighter fluid so I’m
butane I’m sorry lighter fluid so I’m gonna create something that would just
gonna create something that would just
gonna create something that would just kind of be stored right in this little
kind of be stored right in this little
kind of be stored right in this little circle here so that way when I press
circle here so that way when I press
circle here so that way when I press this forward I will ignite the flame and
this forward I will ignite the flame and
this forward I will ignite the flame and there’s your mini flamethrower
there’s your mini flamethrower
there’s your mini flamethrower the flame is actually this almost
the flame is actually this almost
the flame is actually this almost identical to the bigger flamethrower
identical to the bigger flamethrower
identical to the bigger flamethrower that I have the m2 so you should check
that I have the m2 so you should check
that I have the m2 so you should check out that video if you’re wondering what
out that video if you’re wondering what

this one will look like I’ll put that in
this one will look like I’ll put that in the description as well as a clickable
the description as well as a clickable
the description as well as a clickable link so I’m hoping that after I finish
link so I’m hoping that after I finish
link so I’m hoping that after I finish this it’ll kind of all just morph
this it’ll kind of all just morph
this it’ll kind of all just morph together into one little thing something
together into one little thing something
together into one little thing something like that so I mean you know already
like that so I mean you know already
like that so I mean you know already kind of stays together but I don’t
kind of stays together but I don’t
kind of stays together but I don’t really trust it because it just comes
really trust it because it just comes
really trust it because it just comes right apart so yeah hope it looks kind
right apart so yeah hope it looks kind
right apart so yeah hope it looks kind of cool
