OSHO: The Difference Between Trust and Being Naive

OSHOS conversations

presents

The Difference Between Faith and the Naive Being

What is the Difference

Between Faith

and Being Naive?

The difference is great,

however

the dividing line is too thin.

To be naive

it means being ignorant.

trust

is the most intelligent action of existence.

And the symptoms

which should be remembered are these:

the second will

betrayed,

the second will be fooled,

but the person who is naive

will feel betrayed,

will feel deceived,

will be angry,

will begin to not trust people.

His naivety will sooner or later become distrustful.

And the person

who believes

also will be betrayed,

also has to be

deceived

but will not feel hurt.

He will simply feel sorry for them

who have betrayed him,

who have deceived him,

and his belief

will not be lost.

His faith

will continue to grow despite all the tricks.

His faith will never return to disbelief for mankind.

These are the symptoms.

At first, they look both alike.

But in the end,

the quality of being naive

turns into disbelief,

and quality of faith

continues to become more trustworthy,

most regrettable, more understanding about it

human weaknesses,

human vulnerabilities.

Faith is so valuable

that man is able to lose everything,

but not confidence.
