started this channel because mmm it’s
started this channel because mmm it’s about being
about being
about being about food being really delicious and so
about food being really delicious and so
about food being really delicious and so it’s kind of you know my channels
it’s kind of you know my channels
it’s kind of you know my channels evolved or it’s become a little
evolved or it’s become a little
evolved or it’s become a little different since then but the name kind
different since then but the name kind
different since then but the name kind of stuck and I haven’t changed it but
of stuck and I haven’t changed it but
of stuck and I haven’t changed it but it’s quite interesting mmm is a bit of a
it’s quite interesting mmm is a bit of a
it’s quite interesting mmm is a bit of a well it’s an interjection and it can
well it’s an interjection and it can
well it’s an interjection and it can mean lots of different things it can be
mean lots of different things it can be
mean lots of different things it can be used when you say something’s delicious
used when you say something’s delicious
used when you say something’s delicious like mmm this pastas delicious it’s so
like mmm this pastas delicious it’s so
like mmm this pastas delicious it’s so good that you can also use it you know
good that you can also use it you know
good that you can also use it you know when you’re it’s a really common one
when you’re it’s a really common one
when you’re it’s a really common one when you’re thinking and you’re like hmm
when you’re thinking and you’re like hmm
when you’re thinking and you’re like hmm a little bit like um and it’s kind of
a little bit like um and it’s kind of
a little bit like um and it’s kind of it’s different for every language
it’s different for every language
it’s different for every language everyone has these different kinds of
everyone has these different kinds of
everyone has these different kinds of into interjections and in english mmm is
into interjections and in english mmm is
into interjections and in english mmm is really common so if someone asks you a
really common so if someone asks you a
really common so if someone asks you a question and you’re not sure of the
question and you’re not sure of the
question and you’re not sure of the answer hmm that’s the way to do it in
answer hmm that’s the way to do it in
answer hmm that’s the way to do it in English and it can also mean sort of
English and it can also mean sort of
English and it can also mean sort of like yes when you’re responding to
like yes when you’re responding to
like yes when you’re responding to someone if someone said hey Emma mm-hmm
someone if someone said hey Emma mm-hmm
someone if someone said hey Emma mm-hmm that means yes I’m listening so there’s
that means yes I’m listening so there’s
that means yes I’m listening so there’s lots and lots of different ways that
lots and lots of different ways that
lots and lots of different ways that those three letters mmm can be
those three letters mmm can be
those three letters mmm can be interpreted in English depending on tone
interpreted in English depending on tone
interpreted in English depending on tone intonation that kind of thing so it’s
intonation that kind of thing so it’s
intonation that kind of thing so it’s very very cool very cool little way of
very very cool very cool little way of
very very cool very cool little way of expressing English I think it’s stuck
expressing English I think it’s stuck
expressing English I think it’s stuck anyway it’s the name of my channel now I
anyway it’s the name of my channel now I
anyway it’s the name of my channel now I don’t do a lot of cooking anymore but I
don’t do a lot of cooking anymore but I
don’t do a lot of cooking anymore but I I do like talking a lot about food so I
I do like talking a lot about food so I
I do like talking a lot about food so I think that the most important thing is
think that the most important thing is
think that the most important thing is that you know language is about words
that you know language is about words
that you know language is about words and vocabulary and grammar but it’s also
and vocabulary and grammar but it’s also
and vocabulary and grammar but it’s also about so much more than that it’s about
about so much more than that it’s about
about so much more than that it’s about expressing yourself through tone
expressing yourself through tone
expressing yourself through tone intonation facial expression all of
intonation facial expression all of
intonation facial expression all of these things that help you to become a
these things that help you to become a
these things that help you to become a really good communicator in English it’s
really good communicator in English it’s
really good communicator in English it’s not just about it’s not just about the
not just about it’s not just about the
not just about it’s not just about the words but it’s also about how you say
words but it’s also about how you say
words but it’s also about how you say those words as well and there’s lots of
those words as well and there’s lots of
those words as well and there’s lots of different different ways that affect the
different different ways that affect the
different different ways that affect the way that you speak in English so on this
way that you speak in English so on this
way that you speak in English so on this channel and through my my Facebook
channel and through my my Facebook

prefer to say that I’m your English coach and one of the the biggest
coach and one of the the biggest
coach and one of the the biggest problems that we all have and I say we
problems that we all have and I say we
problems that we all have and I say we because I’m learning a language – I’m
because I’m learning a language – I’m
because I’m learning a language – I’m learning Spanish and one of the biggest

asking a question that you can answer I’d go for it help them out so yeah I
I’d go for it help them out so yeah I
I’d go for it help them out so yeah I spend a lot of time motivating and and
spend a lot of time motivating and and
spend a lot of time motivating and and helping people to feel confident using
helping people to feel confident using
helping people to feel confident using English I think that’s one of the the
English I think that’s one of the the
English I think that’s one of the the biggest challenges that we all face when
biggest challenges that we all face when
biggest challenges that we all face when we’re learning a language is it’s about
we’re learning a language is it’s about
we’re learning a language is it’s about that confidence and the belief in
that confidence and the belief in
that confidence and the belief in ourselves to be able to use it and to
ourselves to be able to use it and to
ourselves to be able to use it and to try it and so I think I teach a little
try it and so I think I teach a little
try it and so I think I teach a little but I I coach a lot the it’s great thing

all of you lots of you are saying that you have self-esteem and and motivation
you have self-esteem and and motivation
you have self-esteem and and motivation issues
issues
issues that can be generally in life but of
that can be generally in life but of
that can be generally in life but of course it’s it’s so common when you’re
course it’s it’s so common when you’re
course it’s it’s so common when you’re learning a new language right you know
learning a new language right you know
learning a new language right you know that in your own language you can
that in your own language you can
that in your own language you can express your espresso yourself cleanly
express your espresso yourself cleanly
express your espresso yourself cleanly and clearly and easily and in English it
and clearly and easily and in English it
and clearly and easily and in English it takes a lot of work right I have the
takes a lot of work right I have the
takes a lot of work right I have the same when I’m trying to express myself
same when I’m trying to express myself
same when I’m trying to express myself in Spanish so but the idea behind my
in Spanish so but the idea behind my
in Spanish so but the idea behind my channel is that you know to become
channel is that you know to become
channel is that you know to become fluent in English you need to become a
fluent in English you need to become a
fluent in English you need to become a good speaker the other skills are really
good speaker the other skills are really

important and it’s what all of you are
important and it’s what all of you are working on at the moment you’re building
working on at the moment you’re building

your vocabulary you’re trying to
your vocabulary you’re trying to understand and get the grammar right the

you towards fluency is being able to
you towards fluency is being able to speak confidently in English and that’s
speak confidently in English and that’s
speak confidently in English and that’s something that takes a lot of extra work

next step is to step into English
next step is to step into English conversation and there are so many
conversation and there are so many
