Countable English Nouns | Fix Common Grammar Mistakes & Errors

Hi I’m Emma from mmmEnglish!

Now, maybe you already know there is

Two types of English names, few names

And countless.

Knowing the difference between these names is really important

I can now tell you that

Many grammatical errors fall out

Are related to these different types of names.

It affects the way that other words are used in English,

Words like meta tags

much and many

Some and any,

a little and few

Learn how to use unlimited names

The numbered names with these words will,

Dramatically improve your English grammar.

In this video, I will focus on the numbered names

But I have provided another lesson

For non-numbered names.

You can check it here or

You can wait until the end of this lesson

Will arrive there.

OK ! Some names are numbered

Which simply means, you can count them.

You can say there are three, five or ten

Of these different names.

For example, this is an apple

Here I have three apples.

It has singular and plural formulas.

Numerous names have singular and plural versions,

Which means that you can use meta tags

With the singular form of these names.

Lemon apple, water mug.

Well, have you said apple and lemon before?

So, what is the difference?

Well, it’s like saying that there’s one thing,

If it’s used with a single name,

Never use the plural.

a We use it in front of the name that starts with a valid voice

Banana, cup, plate, potato and lemon.

We use the name that starts with the bug

Vowel sounds, such as an apple, an orange or an hour

Now, the hour is a bit complicated. It starts with a valid character

In fact it starts with a bug.

So, we’re talking about letters or sounds.

This word begins with a correct letter

But the first sound you hear when you pronounce it

Is a vowel voice: Ao, Ao, an hour.

Not ‘hhhhour’

Therefore, because it starts with the vowel voice,

You need to use the ‘an’ tool.

So, what about the plural nouns?

When you have a plural collection name,

You can use the word “some” if you do not want to specify,

You do not know exactly how much

Do not want to say exactly how much, use ‘some’

Or, you can use a number to be accurate

You can say “some potatoes” or “two chocolate” or “three cups.

Most English names are numbered,

But there are a lot of names out of the kitchen, right?

Such as day, week, hour, minute and task,

Interview and activity.

So, let’s sum up the few names.

Can be singular or plural.

You can use the “a” and “an”

When we talk about these names, when they are singular.

You can use ‘some’ with plural names when you do not want to be specified.

Or, you can just use the number to say exactly how much!

As I said, the majority of English names are few names

The way to find out is to check your dictionary.

Each dictionary will tell if the name is numbered or numbered.

You should see a small [U] or a small [c] next to the name

And it is really important that you get used to using these names correctly.

They are treated very differently in English sentences.

Remember that the words you can use with them are quite different.

This is how many mistakes are made in English,

Especially with the rules! So, you should actually start paying attention

To the type of name you are using

And how that affects other words in your sentences.

I made a paper to help you

In practice and study these differences

Between numbered and non-numbered names

And how to use them effectively.

You can download it here.

I hope you enjoyed this lesson

You learned a few things about the few names.

Do not forget to watch the other lesson
