5 Common British English Expressions!

Not again

Thank

Hello guys, this is me

I’m here in sunny London

This is British irony

The weather is very cold today

But I wanted to talk to you about some common British terms

Which I hear and use almost every day

So let’s start

The first term is all right

That means how you are

Some people mingle with them and think it means

Is everything alright

Is it really a very general question?

It’s a nice way to greet someone

So if you hear someone on the street say

All right? You can say yes and you are how are you?

As a response

Ok and the second is ‘I’m easy’

This will be used when

Someone asks you to make a decision

While you have no problem at any option

For example, do you prefer Italian or Chinese food tonight?

I do not mind either

It means the difference I have

Another Ok is ‘on about’

That means talking about

If I say what he is talking about

I really say what he is talking about

They can be used in a negative way, so if someone talks too much

what does he say !!!!!!

My favorite is on this list

Bob is your uncle “pony”

If these are not familiar to you

It may look silly as it is

We’re a little crazy here in Britain

But we use this phrase

Get to the result of a set of instructions

For example make a cup of tea

You need to boil water

And added it to the cup

And you need to add a tea bag

And let him boil

Then remove the tea bag

Add some milk

And sugar for sweetening

And then

I made a cup of tea Bob’s your uncle!

Now the last term is easy

Is something I used to say a lot when I was a child

But I may still say it all the time

right Now

This means that the thing is very easy

Full rhyme “easy peasy lemon squeezy ‘

I do not recommend using this term in a job interview

But for public talks and fun

It is perfectly acceptable

For example, how was the exam?

It was very easy

Or if you want to start

It was very easy like the lemon age
