[Music] hey guys today we’re experimenting to
hey guys today we’re experimenting to
hey guys today we’re experimenting to see what happens when you throw cap
see what happens when you throw cap
see what happens when you throw cap darts at gasoline because you asked for
darts at gasoline because you asked for
darts at gasoline because you asked for it
these cap darts are super simple to make
these cap darts are super simple to make they just use a number six machine screw
they just use a number six machine screw
they just use a number six machine screw and some of these kids cap gun caps to
and some of these kids cap gun caps to
and some of these kids cap gun caps to fit over the top and turn them into
fit over the top and turn them into
fit over the top and turn them into exploding tip blow darts
exploding tip blow darts
exploding tip blow darts this gives the dark the ability that
this gives the dark the ability that
this gives the dark the ability that when it impacts the ground it makes a
when it impacts the ground it makes a
when it impacts the ground it makes a nice sharp snap these cap darts are
nice sharp snap these cap darts are
nice sharp snap these cap darts are super easy to make they’re super fun to
super easy to make they’re super fun to
super easy to make they’re super fun to play with and they’re not really that
play with and they’re not really that
play with and they’re not really that dangerous until today because our friend
dangerous until today because our friend
dangerous until today because our friend Landon main asks the real question is
Landon main asks the real question is
Landon main asks the real question is can it like gasoline so we’re gonna find
can it like gasoline so we’re gonna find
can it like gasoline so we’re gonna find out got my trusty fire extinguisher hope
out got my trusty fire extinguisher hope
out got my trusty fire extinguisher hope we don’t have to use that today just
we don’t have to use that today just
we don’t have to use that today just douse this with a little bit more
douse this with a little bit more
douse this with a little bit more gasoline just so it’s kind of fresh and
gasoline just so it’s kind of fresh and
gasoline just so it’s kind of fresh and ready and I’m gonna put this really
ready and I’m gonna put this really
ready and I’m gonna put this really really far away
really far away
really far away the first test I’m going to try is just
the first test I’m going to try is just
the first test I’m going to try is just dropping it from here let’s just see
dropping it from here let’s just see
dropping it from here let’s just see what happens so let’s give it a try here
what happens so let’s give it a try here
what happens so let’s give it a try here three two one now do you see that there
three two one now do you see that there
three two one now do you see that there was actually a spark of fire on there
was actually a spark of fire on there
was actually a spark of fire on there but I didn’t actually see the gasoline
but I didn’t actually see the gasoline
but I didn’t actually see the gasoline light which is amazing because this
light which is amazing because this
light which is amazing because this brick is actually pretty well soaked of
brick is actually pretty well soaked of
brick is actually pretty well soaked of gasoline by now nothing all right so
gasoline by now nothing all right so
gasoline by now nothing all right so here’s the cap dart if you take a look
here’s the cap dart if you take a look
here’s the cap dart if you take a look at the cap here you probably notice
at the cap here you probably notice
at the cap here you probably notice there’s actually no real noticeable
there’s actually no real noticeable
there’s actually no real noticeable damage it’s not cracked open and I think
damage it’s not cracked open and I think
damage it’s not cracked open and I think most of last shot back upward toward the
most of last shot back upward toward the
most of last shot back upward toward the top of the cap we actually needed to
top of the cap we actually needed to
top of the cap we actually needed to blast forward out of the cap so let’s
blast forward out of the cap so let’s
blast forward out of the cap so let’s try it one more time but this time let’s
try it one more time but this time let’s
try it one more time but this time let’s throw it quite a bit harder to see if we
throw it quite a bit harder to see if we
throw it quite a bit harder to see if we can get it to crack and get sparks to
can get it to crack and get sparks to
can get it to crack and get sparks to fly forward
here’s the cap you can actually see it
here’s the cap you can actually see it did blast through that is different than
did blast through that is different than
did blast through that is different than the first one was okay so one thing you
the first one was okay so one thing you
the first one was okay so one thing you need to know about using gasoline on the
need to know about using gasoline on the
need to know about using gasoline on the road is something that we just learned
road is something that we just learned
road is something that we just learned right now look down here at what’s
right now look down here at what’s
right now look down here at what’s happening to the asphalt
happening to the asphalt
happening to the asphalt apparently gasoline eats the road okay
apparently gasoline eats the road okay
apparently gasoline eats the road okay Soto try this home we’re gonna go find a
Soto try this home we’re gonna go find a
Soto try this home we’re gonna go find a little bit safer place to do the next
little bit safer place to do the next
little bit safer place to do the next experiments now that we got a little
experiments now that we got a little
experiments now that we got a little puddle of gasoline I’m gonna hit this
puddle of gasoline I’m gonna hit this
puddle of gasoline I’m gonna hit this heart and hope that it goes off so gonna
heart and hope that it goes off so gonna
heart and hope that it goes off so gonna try
okay so we’re dealing with gasoline a
okay so we’re dealing with gasoline a super volatile liquid that’s supposed to
super volatile liquid that’s supposed to
super volatile liquid that’s supposed to react to sparks but we’re throwing you
react to sparks but we’re throwing you
react to sparks but we’re throwing you know exploding half dart sparks I can
know exploding half dart sparks I can
know exploding half dart sparks I can see that the sparks are coming out so
see that the sparks are coming out so
see that the sparks are coming out so why is this not going off dude I really
why is this not going off dude I really
why is this not going off dude I really want this to light off I really do I’m
want this to light off I really do I’m
want this to light off I really do I’m getting a little bit discouraged
getting a little bit discouraged
getting a little bit discouraged okay so we’re kind of thinking like most
okay so we’re kind of thinking like most
okay so we’re kind of thinking like most of the sparks are flying to the back so
of the sparks are flying to the back so
of the sparks are flying to the back so we might need to prepare these a little
we might need to prepare these a little
we might need to prepare these a little bit to encourage the spark just come out
bit to encourage the spark just come out
bit to encourage the spark just come out the front I’m just going to take these
the front I’m just going to take these
the front I’m just going to take these scissors and cut a little bit of a hole
scissors and cut a little bit of a hole
scissors and cut a little bit of a hole on the tip there to make it a little bit
on the tip there to make it a little bit
on the tip there to make it a little bit easier access for that play when it
easier access for that play when it
easier access for that play when it explodes so see if that makes a
explodes so see if that makes a
explodes so see if that makes a difference – oh I missed it but it
difference – oh I missed it but it
difference – oh I missed it but it worked
worked
worked dude I think we’re on to something we
dude I think we’re on to something we
dude I think we’re on to something we have to see that on the slow-mo in take
have to see that on the slow-mo in take
have to see that on the slow-mo in take a look oh dude I totally miss but that
a look oh dude I totally miss but that
a look oh dude I totally miss but that worked perfectly that looks really cool
worked perfectly that looks really cool
worked perfectly that looks really cool let’s do that one more time I didn’t
let’s do that one more time I didn’t
let’s do that one more time I didn’t prepare this okay
I have created fire not really the kind
I have created fire not really the kind of fire I want to cook a hot dog over
of fire I want to cook a hot dog over
of fire I want to cook a hot dog over though boom like magic so now that we’ve
though boom like magic so now that we’ve
though boom like magic so now that we’ve got to figured out how to do it by hand
got to figured out how to do it by hand
got to figured out how to do it by hand let’s take things up a notch and try
let’s take things up a notch and try
let’s take things up a notch and try with our laser-guided blowgun
alright guys so in conclusion I think we
alright guys so in conclusion I think we finally cracked the code on how to make
finally cracked the code on how to make
finally cracked the code on how to make these things go off it’s not by throwing
these things go off it’s not by throwing
these things go off it’s not by throwing it as hard as you can it’s by trimming
it as hard as you can it’s by trimming
it as hard as you can it’s by trimming the edges so we can direct the sparks
the edges so we can direct the sparks
the edges so we can direct the sparks into the gasoline so now that we’re
into the gasoline so now that we’re
into the gasoline so now that we’re getting these things to work 100% of the
getting these things to work 100% of the
getting these things to work 100% of the time I want to see your comments below
time I want to see your comments below
time I want to see your comments below on what kind of things we should light
on what kind of things we should light
on what kind of things we should light up with them thanks so much for joining
up with them thanks so much for joining
up with them thanks so much for joining me for this experiment and while you’re
me for this experiment and while you’re
me for this experiment and while you’re waiting for the next one I’ve got a lot
waiting for the next one I’ve got a lot
waiting for the next one I’ve got a lot more videos you can still check out at
