the first thing that I think has to
tell you yes I am the Christian
is engaged in the project there
It’s supposed to be very cool to be
finné shell stage and and this project is the
people do a lot of things there but the
people work with basically this
technology innovation business
Entrepreneurship startups nec is very
Hot and much talked about there.
then this state business after
listen to you I think I have there
It should be said that what has engaged us in
beginning of this project the company super
young people into something very different is not
conventional wisdom is that we believe
Brazil is silent so not only the
internal problems that we have a
story everything that is happening in
world outside what will be of us by
that we want this belief that only
innovation and entrepreneurship are a
to save Brazil
our operation works in são paulo
but we have an office there on the river
in san francisco then’re san francisco
Aquino map her up’re here
under the city are you from here
They are more or less 100 kilometers.
this here is the one from Silicon Valley
sure, and a lot of people today ask
Silicon Valley’s Mouth Story is what
these nice companies come up there and
hence you have a phrase where you always respond
which is actually looks like it has not
creating a cool company has to create a
great team and if you have to start a company
cool thing is certain this joke aside
Okay, I really like this theme.
the paypal mafia did not hear this
This group created this paypal startup.
the guys that came out they build
amazing staff that came out of
there and created youtube had a staff that
get out of there and created the omerta these not
I know microsoft bought for 1 billion
of dollars to the company yelp
the scareware the guy invested in facebook
linkedin but I came today by
recommendation of the spoken of torn
of him that he loves is Islam but
We have a joke that when
things go well things go bad days
Bilac long an even the guy is not good
so who’s the villain?
willam but was born in south africa father
his father was an engineer and pilot.
a Canadian model
he had a brother and a sister at four
years he already read everything
devoured books at age 10 he had the
first contact with the computer
here is ooo commodore for who is new
It looks like a keyboard, yes, it did not.
monitor on the day no no did not have to
watch TV, what do you call us?
to see things
at the age of 12 he learned to
and he made the first game of
computer called blaster and it sold
for 500 doses right including who
you want to curious go online until
play very simple games
in 1983 he was 12 years old loves not everything
it was easy in iran life he suffered
much of bullying that once he hit
a free at school and fainted
he at age eight the parents family
separated and had to live only with his father
It’s his life there in South Africa.
was not easy at the time of the
apartheid
is that thing of aa racial segregation
it’s not a very cool place let’s say
like this
and at the same time this culture of Africa
Southern also not very favored
entrepreneurship to that thing that
had very born of him then in the 17
He lived in Canada with his mother.
soon after he went to study in the states
united he graduated in truth in
physics in physical economy
there at the American universities of good
I think it’s pretty damn good to say that he
It’s kind of nerdy geek right then he
There’s a phrase that says so when I
I was very little I really had
afraid of the dark but then I started
to understand what darkness was and perhaps
mister peter can explain to us the
scientific basis of criticism
then they after I understood did not
I was more afraid of this bank business.
he applied the same country to do the
his ticket there in stanford he got it
to class for two days because of the fire
by high films
then his fear had to lose that
internet bubble bubble
then he if he wanted to undertake it
was to arrest he took his brother the father
he gave 28,000 doses to them
create your company calls voip 2
exhibited and four years later they
They sold the compact by 307 million
dollars
there he made 22 million doses are 28
years that is made 22 million doses,
what he did was with the disney lie he
three months later he started another
99 company called ex boston is with 10
millions he had and then he made a
doctor other company
loge they created a paypal company
certain that made electronic payment
at the time their great difficulty was
get customer must had a balcony
so if everything indicates a client and she
Come, I’ll give you 20 bucks to spend.
said while indicating another of the 20
if she liked the 20 he spent 15 6
millions of seniors doing this he stopped
to spend but people do not stop
get serious this is called ground today
very cool ranking
it was he who started to create these things
crazy but he was very crazy not
he was very crazy about his things and
half fight inside the company
technology and decided to take a
he was the Australian when he got there
the guys call him without an ilan
We are allowing this or not
more sure was why he said
This is the problem of taking a vacation
This, I never took a vacation from life.
His is good but everything is fine because in the other
year ebay bought the paypal for one
billion and a half of us
in this case mister manske william made 165
millions
It’s there he can develop into the thing
that it was more tanning than on the march
he said so I was born on earth but
I’m going to live
I’m going to die on Mars not on the right arrival.
This is his phrase and then he went to
Russia and tried to buy rocket from
Russian Russians were yes I will not fear a
rocket and eight million doses is not
very expensive
I’ll do mine he got 100 million
doses and bought me and started
company nothing called spacex right and he
liked so much he says he discovered that a
startup there trying to make electric car
he spoke of the 70 million dollars
in this startup called test there and then it
it was packed right
hence he went there and found that the cousins
He created another chance in that source is
solar panel solar energy
the guy is booming then came 2008 pulls
So you have an idea of what happened.
This is where you know that program.
60 minutes american tv here plus or
But the guy is asking the
sisters who this chat and explore the martim
space the astronauts the government both
telling you that you are crazy that you are
talking is insane
You’re going to hurt the people you think
you can look at the tears there
in the right script and they really do
guys are my heroes
and I wanted them to come see the
hard work we ‘re having here
in fact both up to doha and spacex
as the solar cid was running out
big and he was not getting
investor around here but god knows what
It happened
His wife left him right and in this
moment there and hence how he was already a
public face to market information
that appears and it is not only the
companies that were bad was it that
I did not have more money to make a
business and why he said 2008
It was the worst year of my life and there
Something happened when Christmas was at
Christmas is really on the joke at Christmas he
received a call from daimler mercedes
telling us not to put 50 million
dollars on the deal
the tesla ok I do not know if you have
opportunity to see tesla so let’s go
take a walk then you are giving a
10 lac tour now ok we are
walking down the valley of silicon
here is there by chance our driver
he’s not stirring anything so seeing why
the tesla beyond the electric is autonomous and
has eight cameras on the models in eight
cameras and these cameras are watching
right the cameras also took too
Give a comic he’s running.
identifying a pedestrian and a tree
a dog is a stop sign one
golden plate left a plate to
The right speed is called the computer.
virgin
there’re there have a programming developer
This board for there this board
No, it’s not really like that.
more info image we play more
this so-called artificial intelligence
but this deal then processes how much
more see more uses the pigeon gets
It’s called chillán in planning and it’s kind of
scary because we do not know
how the business learns and how
more uses best stays every night
download software in the garage and go
though and the thing is getting more and more
It’s incredible there for you that maybe not
know the thesis but i know gm and ford
so here says the following in 2016
there is even to lose 1 billion a gm had
a profit from 9 to Ford 4
hence the bill of 4 billion
the gm is more than 100 until the 76 thousand
cars to gm almost 10 million
EEA opening in 2017 until there began
worth more than gm what’s this is
a bet of who will win this game
maybe it’s okay we’ll be back for a return
pro spacex what was economic logic
its what’s expensive if i get a rocket
playing there does not want to drop the satellite and I
could return this whole rocket and
do not fill with fuel
put and send again and economically in
Mad math but it’s been a long time.
cheaper to do it right only than
So now it’s like I’m calling you.
the next now everyone is
working in space is all right and
We ‘re going to try to do this, have to
take a rocket talk bring a rocket
So we can use it again only
There is a problem we ‘ve tried to do.
this several times
every time people have erred and have
a rocket we were losing a 40 50
millions of dollars and the money ending
and the last attempt we have
Okay, so I’m going to call you guys.
three minutes you are workers of the
spacex ok I want you to look at it
Male and look at the face of people who
work with you, I want to see if it’s holy.

I did not even know if she answered any questions.
existed or is it showing a photo
you
here is what will be Mars according to the
sir, but that’s good for the colony in
Mars is this they have these super mega
rockets that have the ugly name and there what
happens and they say that in 2022 they will
send two rockets only with supplies
to Mars in 2024 they will send
four rockets 2 with 12 with supplies
and two with passengers 100 people in
each one then the man who is
going well solarcity not only the panels
solar power now has some tiled
solar power
also has the power batteries, ie
Evening night, take the boot on the battery and
feeds home on the idea that energy will be
free for everyone what world will be
that
that’s where he also played with lupe rapper
times by clicking the all button so I
I want edition francisco los angeles and 15
minutes he works are francisco
who lives in Los Angeles at the time
Life will be us from here to
floripa in 12 km and a half né
hence he also now wants a
impressed the tire plans and that is the
artificial intelligence , ie
they develop technology and left
released for others to use
cool
he also created this company as
traffic is very bad if I could
parking the elevator leads down creates a
cano mj on the other side of the city he
created your company are doing it
both your very cool name here
No ball in the field and that’s not it
he this year to finish he invented a
another called neura link
the business here is more or less he created
an interface between the human brain and
computer know not perhaps do
download thing
forgot anything uploaded until
There, then, this is a great year and
last week he launched the trucks
electrical
he launched the new is sports car
from him to the roadster here actually a
car that goes from 0 to 100 in 1,951 of the
first time a car makes less than
two seconds is here the super bugatti
wants faster this one worth 200
thousand doses is three million dollars
the guy does not stop, he says a phrase
inside his company say so speak
here is an option
if things in here are not
failing we’re not innovating
Okay, this is his story and thanks here.
[Applause]
