00:00:14really fresh and lovely so I’ve got a
00:00:15pan on and I’ve got a kilo of really
00:00:19nice strawberries and what I want to do
00:00:21put the strawberries in here I’m going
00:00:24to flavor it with sometimes a little
00:00:26trick of a little bit of lemon juice
00:00:27right but what I’m going to do is use
00:00:29one pot of vanilla you could use vanilla
00:00:31extract but I tell you what this makes
00:00:33it so tasting you won’t believe just get
00:00:35a vanilla pod and run your knife just
00:00:37down the center like that and scrape out
00:00:40all those lovely seeds put them there
00:00:42with the bowl so what I’m gonna do is
00:00:45mix this with 500 grams of pectin sugar
00:00:48or jam sugar they call it sometimes
00:00:52lovely so what you want to do is I just
00:00:55wanna sort of mash it all up to start
00:00:57with just give it a good old match up on
00:01:00this just to get it going and it’s quite
00:01:02nice to have some pulping and some sort
00:01:04of chunky so lovely so just pour that
00:01:08into it and let it boil and I want to
00:01:12boil this really hard for about four
00:01:14minutes that’s all four minutes till it
00:01:18goes nice and clear now that’s at about
00:01:19four or five minutes now no I would do
00:01:21with just turn the heat off and I see
00:01:24you mention it’s still very fresh it
00:01:26still tastes like strawberry instead of
00:01:27quite frumpy you know just take a little
00:01:30bit of that there’s a little bit of a
00:01:31sort of scum on the top alright
00:01:33just run your eye so like a spoon or you
00:01:37know Laidlaw sighing just over the top
00:01:38just to get rid of that scum just let it
00:01:40sit for a little bit now what I want to
00:01:42do that bowl that I scratched all this
00:01:45up the air strawberries up in if I’m
00:01:47gonna be really quick all right what I
00:01:49do is just get
00:01:53this is silly on there and the only
00:01:56reason I’m doing that is I’m in a rush
00:01:57and I’ll just put the pan in there like
00:02:00that put a little bit of water in here
00:02:02here we go so that’s gonna be cold back
