00:00:04hello lovely people mr. Oliver here hope

00:00:07you will okay so this year to Jamie’s

00:00:09home cooking skills we did a bit of a

00:00:11competition for some prizes to have a

00:00:14meal for four at James Italian and we

00:00:16set it back in September at start the

00:00:18term and we’ve had an amazing response

00:00:20it was down to you guys just on to cook

00:00:23and plan and do a wonderful meal

00:00:27experience and really the door was open

00:00:30for you to express it in any way you

00:00:32want so we’ve had all the kind of

00:00:35competition shortlist sent in we’ve been

00:00:40through it all it was amazing some

00:00:42really good thinking going on some

00:00:45clever stuff a real a lot of different I

00:00:48mean clearly some brilliant meals being

00:00:51cooked on brilliant days and different

00:00:53themes lots of thinking going on in some

00:00:55proper proper cooking so amazing work on

00:00:58that and then of course I get to see it

00:01:00and I get various different things from

00:01:03you know bits of paper project to you

00:01:06know print it out books to you know

00:01:09proper you know big old folders with

00:01:12everything from photocopies to pictures

00:01:14to recipes in it so obviously I’ve got

00:01:17to make a decision now so we do have a

00:01:23winner we do have a winner the winner I

00:01:25have given to this year’s competition

00:01:27goes to Christopher Edwards is 16 the

00:01:32teacher is K bowling Boeing sorry K and

00:01:36basically you’re from Bram bramhall high

00:01:39school out in Stockport so

00:01:44congratulations let’s just have a little

00:01:45look quistoph Lee did a great job I mean

00:01:48you know you could have expressed it in

00:01:50a slightly more dynamic way but i did

00:01:53say do whatever you like so i’ve only

00:01:54got myself to blame but it was very nice

00:01:56really well done project probably some

00:02:00of the most kind of clever combinations

00:02:02of food you know quite grown up really

00:02:07nicely presented nicely explained you

00:02:13did this soup with asparagus

00:02:16poached quail egg the rainbow salad

00:02:18which was brilliant the barnsley chop

00:02:21with net and mint sauce really clever

00:02:23getting the nails in there really

00:02:26unusual maybe sort of what’s going on

00:02:27here basil creamy match homo ginger mint

00:02:30lemonade it just seemed like a nice

00:02:33balance clever delicious dinner and I’ve

00:02:39gone for you so very well done

00:02:41Christopher good man so you’re going to

00:02:44get the prize and we’ve got sort three

00:02:47other run around you know a position to

00:02:49three and for that I’m going to go

00:02:51through as well because you know you all

00:02:52did such an incredible job and we’re

00:02:55going to make sure you get a signed book

00:02:56to say well done and thank you so coming

00:03:08Melbourne Melbourne is in Southampton

00:03:10and I’ve got Laura story here she seemed

00:03:15her dinner on the Olympics energy food

00:03:18powerful healthy food and I think it was

00:03:23a brilliant brilliant job they made

00:03:25their own book which could be honest a

00:03:27little tip there I mean this was a

00:03:29really close number two I could have

00:03:31given this the winning position but this

00:03:33was beautifully presented it was she

00:03:36made it clearer for me to make it a

00:03:38final decision because I could see her

00:03:39work really clearly but she was making

00:03:42bread she was doing chicken no pie and

00:03:46athletes loaf along with smoothies and

00:03:48various other bits and pieces really

00:03:51great job Laura you came up in number

00:03:53two position so well done number three

00:03:56was a lovely girl called zara zara a min

00:04:0016 years old teacher is mrs. Bowa and

00:04:04she comes from let me just find out here

00:04:08at the sacred heart high school nice

00:04:10name out in Newcastle why I’m am we love

00:04:15a bit of geordie at really not I started

00:04:18opening the project thinking my god

00:04:21you know it was kind of like bits of

00:04:23like notes and he was a bit scruffy and

00:04:25it looked like my work to be honest but

00:04:29it was kind of you could tell you to her

00:04:31thought process working out the job she

00:04:33was doing a picnic it was in Christmas

00:04:36time and she’s done some lovely cooking

00:04:40and eventually got very clear and

00:04:42beautiful pictures salad Christmas tree

00:04:46cupcakes root vegetable salad chips so

00:04:49root vegetable chips with dips sausage

00:04:53rolls all homemade tarka doll doll sorry

00:04:56nom turkey curry mango lassi delicious

00:05:02really good again she could have nearly

00:05:08a oneness she did a really great job

00:05:11lots of pictures of Jade’s or a gin

00:05:14coral and of course the lovely teacher

00:05:17mrs. Bowa thank you mrs. Bowa she did a

00:05:21really really good job and tried really

00:05:24really hard so I’m going to put her

00:05:27number three position great job great

00:05:31recipes and then number four we have got

00:05:35Robbie Morgan 15 teacher is Annie culda

00:05:40and this is the King Edward I don’t know

00:05:44Roman euros the fifth bovina one not one

00:05:48VI 6 you can tell I didn’t do well at

00:05:52school King Edward the 6th school in

00:05:56morph head so near Northumberland really

00:06:01nice menu really enjoyed it you know

00:06:06again you know just did a perfectly good

00:06:10job of putting it down on paper but like

00:06:13the other girls here really kind of went

00:06:15the extra mile so it was clearer for me

00:06:18to see how good they were which is why

00:06:20he nipped down into fourth position but

00:06:22he did a great menu a really great venue

00:06:25brilliant at pastry made some lovely

00:06:27tarts chunky chips homemade coleslaw

00:06:32which is that great Scottish dessert of

00:06:35cream and meringue and porridge oats and

00:06:38beautiful things like that raspberries

00:06:40mint and a drizzle of honey and a drink

00:06:42of ginger beer so really really good and

00:06:46loved it conclusion teacher review so

00:06:50thank you very much position one two

00:06:53three and four we’ve got a prize winner

00:06:56thank you so much let’s do it again next

00:06:58year and keep cooking you’ve done a
