00:00:10supposed to be an easy day hike is
00:00:11quickly turning into a life-threatening
00:00:13situation one of your top priorities is
00:00:15to get a fire going before nightfall but
00:00:17all you’ve got with you is a bag lunch
00:00:19and an empty water bottle this is a
00:00:21challenge that’s gonna require a little
00:00:22creativity you’re gonna have to light
00:00:24this fire with your pee
00:00:28[Music]
00:00:41for this project you’re gonna need some
00:00:43of that special yellow liquid and the
00:00:45timing is great because with all that
00:00:46water you drink nature is calling you
00:00:49can use a container like your water
00:00:50bottle to collect as much as possible
00:00:52now that’s really not a lot and it looks
00:00:55like you’re still a little dehydrated
00:00:56but you’re gonna have to make it work
00:00:57when you flip the bottle over and
00:00:59attempt the water bottle trick from a
00:01:01previous video it doesn’t seem to be
00:01:03working and that’s because you don’t
00:01:04have enough fluid in your bottle you try
00:01:07removing the label to see if that helps
00:01:08but it’s not making much of a difference
00:01:10okay time to check your lunch bag to see
00:01:12what other resources you have there’s a
00:01:14bag of celery sticks and that could be
00:01:16useful but here’s something even better
00:01:18you wrapped your Apple with a plastic
00:01:20wrap perfect carefully remove the
00:01:22wrapper making sure not to rip it and
00:01:24now you’re gonna need some rocks when
00:01:26you place these rocks in a circle they
00:01:28formed a crude concave mold the rocks
00:01:30help form the wrapper into a bowl shape
00:01:32and now you can add liquid when it’s
00:01:35filled to the edges grab all the sides
00:01:36and hold them together at the top making
00:01:38this into a little liquid pouch twisting
00:01:41this pouch while holding it at the top
00:01:42helps remove any air and seals the
00:01:44liquid inside when you twist the excess
00:01:47plastic around your middle finger like a
00:01:48ring then wrap it around the base to
00:01:50hold it in place the pressure can be
00:01:52adjusted and you’ve got yourself a great
00:01:54little liquid lens that’s easy to use
00:01:56it’s magnifying very well so time to
00:01:58test it out on some tinder one of the
00:02:00unneeded pages from your map should work
00:02:02perfectly so focus the sunlight on the
00:02:04darkest ink you can find because this
00:02:06will absorb the heat it’s incredible how
00:02:08quickly this starts smoking and where
00:02:10there’s smoke there’s a hope of fire the
00:02:12hole is burning in the paper now and
00:02:14when it’s about the size of a quarter
00:02:15it’s pretty well self-sustaining without
00:02:18wasting any time try adding layers of
00:02:20dry grass and blowing gently to add some
00:02:22air it’s getting hot and smoking quite a
00:02:24bit so just blow a little stronger and
00:02:27success you’ve got a flame now get that
00:02:30to a place you can build your fire up
00:02:31and it’s finished you just lit a fire
00:02:34with your pee well there’s a little
00:02:36trick most people will never have to use
00:02:38but might be good to know just in case
