00:00:02welcome this is my confession my name is
00:00:05ash and i’m the author of the
00:00:06confessions of alexander the great 33
00:00:09lessons and greatness some time ago I
00:00:11thought it might be a clever little idea
00:00:12to send a copy of the book to Oprah the
00:00:15barrenness of bestsellers herself and
00:00:16including the letter a nice little
00:00:18handwritten note from none other than
00:00:20Alexander the Great himself I thought it
00:00:22might be pretty smart since the book
00:00:24itself is written from Alexander’s
00:00:25perspective now I didn’t expect much of
00:00:28it and then last week I got a call back
00:00:30from the producers of the show usually
00:00:33that’s great news what are they gonna do
00:00:34are they gonna mention the book on the
00:00:36air my hope so are they gonna invite me
00:00:38on could be interesting but after seeing
00:00:41Oprah tearing to James Frey author of a
00:00:43million little pieces I’ll be honest
00:00:45with you I’m freaking out are they
00:00:47expecting me the author to go on did she
00:00:49actually believed that it was Alexander
00:00:51writing to her are they gonna expect
00:00:54Alexander the Great to appear or Colin
00:00:56Farrell themselves and if Colin Farrell
00:00:58is going to be there does that mean
00:01:00rosario Dawson is going to be there I
00:01:01don’t know if jared leto is there then
00:01:03you can count me out this ain’t broke
00:01:05back mountain after all I’m freaking out
00:01:07Oprah if you’re watching this I hope you
00:01:09enjoy the book maybe we can have a drink
00:01:11and talk about it but just let me know
00:01:13who you expect to come on your show this
