00:00:10first what you’ll have to do is you’ll
00:00:13have to make something like this
00:00:14basically you take your stereo wire and
00:00:21split it down the middle and this length
00:00:24across mine was three inches but a might
00:00:27vary depending on yourself and you take
00:00:30your positive right here connect it to
00:00:35the negative here and then you’ll have a
00:00:37positive here and a negative here so
00:00:41then you’ll just thread this back
00:00:43through this will go to your controller
00:00:50now this is pretty just slapped together
00:00:53but Halloween only comes once a year so
00:00:55I really didn’t want to put too much
00:00:57time into it and this works basically so
00:01:00I have a momentary push-button switch
00:01:05two zip ties a 9-volt battery clip and
00:01:10just some electrical tape to hold stuff
00:01:12together now what you have to do is
00:01:15you’ll see here your black and white
00:01:21wire and it doesn’t really matter
00:01:25there’s some trial and error and this
00:01:27took me a while to get everything
00:01:29working but basically your black wire
00:01:33should be connected to one end of the
00:01:36momentary push-button switch and then
00:01:39your white wire should be connected to
00:01:42the stereo cable which runs back to your
00:01:47LED display or LED lights and it’s
00:01:55really simple just keep everything
00:01:57together with the zip ties and you just
00:02:02thread this into your pocket and
00:02:04depending on how tall you are you’ll
00:02:07want to measure out distance from
00:02:10wearing the mask with thee from the eye
00:02:13sockets to your pocket or wherever you
00:02:16feel you want this switch to be and then
00:02:20you just press the button it’s real
00:02:22simple
00:02:24so I’ll show you guys what it looks like
00:02:27on my mask couple s notes when voting
00:02:35your LEDs connecting them to your wires
00:02:38you’ll want to know that the longer wire
00:02:41as seen here is the positive also if you
00:02:48decided that you didn’t want to use a
00:02:49momentary push-button you just wanted to
00:02:52have an on and off switch you’ll have to
00:02:54add some type of resistor because these
00:02:58LEDs will burn out pretty quickly that’s
00:03:02why I’m using the momentary push button
00:03:04and another alternative is to just use
00:03:09two double-a batteries as opposed to the
00:03:139-volt and that’ll eliminate having to
00:03:16use any kind of resistor here’s what my
00:03:20mask looks like as it’s finished you
00:03:23have the remote with the momentary
00:03:25push-button and and on the inside what
00:03:32you’ll do to finish it is you’ll take
00:03:36just some black electrical tape and
00:03:39you’ll bend the LEDs so that they fold
00:03:42over on the eye sockets like so and then
00:03:47you just tape everything and this wire
00:03:49you’ll know if worried about it getting
00:03:50in the way it’s because well especially
00:03:53for my mask since it covers up my whole
00:03:54face I just usually thread this down
00:03:57through my shirt and then like into a
00:03:59pocket of some sort so there you go just
00:04:04a quick easy way to make your mask even
00:04:06scarier
