Flamethrower Blowtorch Attachment Under-Barrel Prototype

00:00:00what’s up its Greek gadget guru here

00:00:03with an underbarrel blowtorch attachment

00:00:06calling it a blowtorch because it isn’t

00:00:08really a flamethrower flamethrowers are

00:00:11for not civilian use therefore like army

00:00:17and they shoot a napalm substance of

00:00:20some sort that adheres to the surface

00:00:22sticks to the surface and continues to

00:00:25burn whereas this is more of a blowtorch

00:00:27it runs off butane and it’s doesn’t

00:00:32continuously burn the target unless you

00:00:34light it on fire doesn’t have that

00:00:36sticky substance that sticks to the

00:00:38surface and you know like a napalm jelly

00:00:40or something so the way I built this I

00:00:43modified this gun here just heads up I’m

00:00:47not gonna be able to show the actual

00:00:48shooting but it shoots the exact same

00:00:51way as my MTU flamethrower so I’ll leave

00:00:53a link in the description so you guys

00:00:54can at least see what this thing is

00:00:56capable of runs off of these small co2

00:01:00I’m sorry

00:01:01small butane Zippo canisters and this

00:01:05right here is just a really crappy

00:01:07tactical rail I got from my friend I’ve

00:01:09warped it up pretty bad so mocking him

00:01:13that’s why I can’t really finish this I

00:01:16was using the heat gun and it got too

00:01:18hot and it just collapsed on me so I’m

00:01:21gonna find a new one if you guys have

00:01:22any ideas or know of anywhere I can buy

00:01:25a metal version of these for like 30 to

00:01:2840 dollars leave a link or just message

00:01:32me also modifications I inverted the

00:01:37barrel so that I just used some screws

00:01:41and they are 10 30 seconds by 3/4 inch

00:01:50Philip I’m sorry flathead Phillips

00:01:53machine screws so if you’re looking for

00:01:56the exact same kind that’s worked really

00:01:57well all you have to do is drill out the

00:02:01rivets flip it upside down and then put

00:02:04the bolts in I actually shortened mine

00:02:06by a couple inches just to give it more

00:02:08compact look could have went a little

00:02:10bit more but I needed to be able to

00:02:12remove

00:02:13this canister this is PVC that’s been

00:02:16heat shaping using a heat gun if you

00:02:19guys are planning on making things like

00:02:21this all my projects are gonna probably

00:02:24need a heat gun in the future because

00:02:27using a lighter or like heating it up

00:02:30any other way is just not gonna work and

00:02:34PVC works from us everything plus it’s

00:02:37easy to work with like for example I

00:02:39have this PV

00:02:40this right here is a trigger guard it’s

00:02:42a piece of PVC I cut it shaped it and

00:02:47looks pretty nice it would just sit on

00:02:50there like that and other things you

00:02:55need to heat gun for I cut the PVC right

00:02:58there and that’s doubled up as you can

00:03:04see this is a regular half inch coupler

00:03:08half inch coupler this is regular PVC

00:03:11slide way this works you attach this to

00:03:15the bottom your gun and then as your

00:03:18flame so pretty cool if you want you can

00:03:27add this tactical handle just for a

00:03:31better grip I kind of like the under

00:03:34barrel shotgun style grip but this might

00:03:37be more stable and that’s pretty much it

00:03:45the PVC has been machined and and just

00:03:49dremeled to the point we’re going in a

00:03:53detail would just be so confusing but

00:03:56I’ll cut that in this fashion so that it

00:04:00fits the PVC use the heat gun to melt it

00:04:05and then place it in there and then held

00:04:06it together so that it would form to

00:04:08that shape this is just a clothes hanger

00:04:12this is brass tubing got from a shop

00:04:19this is just an angle that I used from

00:04:22the trigger itself as better support and

00:04:26spray-painting all black so it’s gonna

00:04:28look real cool eventually so I guess you

00:04:31could call this prototype sorry I can’t

00:04:33show you it actually shooting but like I

00:04:36said I’ll put a link in the description

00:04:38of my other flamethrower works the exact

00:04:40same way and if not better so thanks for

00:04:46watching check out my facebook like the

00:04:49page I’m also on Twitter but I don’t

00:04:52update it very often but it still gets

00:04:55all the updates from my Facebook so if

00:04:57you’re more on Twitter and you just go

00:04:59on Facebook every so often that’ll work

00:05:01for you also I got a Google+ account so

00:05:05I’m going to be doing some chats like

00:05:07that so stay tuned for future projects

00:05:12and thanks for watching
