Hello, are you ready?

I am the last, thank you for your patience.

To salute ourselves, we are great!

(clap)

Well, today,

TED told us about a six-hour marathon.

I can congratulate you

Because you currently have a seven-hour marathon.

(clap)

Well, teach the mind without teaching the heart

Not educated at all.

This idea was expressed

One of the greatest breeders throughout history; Aristotle.

I think that man did not imagine himself

He would be a father

For the so-called “holistic” approach to education,

The approach that brings us educators

In the development of the whole child,

Ie, its cognitive and poetic dimensions.

Since we are talking about the terms of modern education,

We will talk about emotional intelligence and mental intelligence.

Let us review some of the fundamentals of these two concepts.

Mental intelligence means the ability to learn and understand,

Application of information on skills, composition of words,

Logical thinking, math skills, and spatial thinking.

If we talk about emotional intelligence,

We are talking about our ability to distinguish and evaluate

And control our feelings,

Feelings of others, and groups.

Daniel Gollman identified four areas of emotional intelligence.

They are as follows: self-awareness, self-management,

Empathy, and social skills.

What are the most important of these intelligences?

When I think about it,

I recollect the memories of my childhood that I call

“The Age of Tom and Jerry”.

I really liked those animations

But I could not understand one thing:

Why were those pets constantly quarreling,

So the little mouse brash Jerry,

Tom was tormenting the elder of him and unlucky.

One day I went to the kindergarten and my friend told me:

“Frankly Jerry is so good that he can not get rid of Tom,

Tom is so stupid that he can not hold Jerry. “

Children’s logic is very very simple,

But now that I have grown up I can say that the level of emotional intelligence when Tom is low,

Jerry has a low mental intelligence level.

If their intelligence levels were high,

They could live together in peace.

In my personal belief emotional intelligence is an initial skill.

Now we’ll have an experiment.

I want everyone to close their eyes and relax.

No need to fear, I will not sleep magnetically.

Yes, close your eyes and relax!

Think of the most beautiful moments of your childhood,

Look after your parents,

Judas,

Fairy Tales,

Kids Games.

Do you remember the taste of candy that you ate in the imagination?

I hear nothing, wake up!

o.k, thank you.

I see many smiles on top of faces, why?

Our childhood is associated with positive feelings.

We, the children, absorb so much information

Through our inner world; our feelings.

Let’s talk about our teachers in school.

I hope and I am sure that many of you will remember some of them,

This is not due to the information they shared with you,

But because of the feelings you experienced during your lessons.

I fully agree with what Maya Angelo said:

“People will forget what I said, you will forget what I did,

But they will never forget how they made them feel. “

I have a typical case of a teacher’s role.

I am an English teacher and German language for ten years now,

When the new fifth graders’

Who have just completed primary school,

I have very few students who are afraid to learn my material.

Why?

Maybe because I’m Frankenstein?

no I’m not.

Maybe they’re stupid. No!

Observe and keep in mind that every student, every student

He is a talented student.

The reason lies in their past negative experiences.

This is due to the stereotypical cultural stereotypes imposed on them by their former teachers,

And my task is very difficult.

It is my turn to change their positions on my material

From negative to positive.

It is very difficult.

As you know I am quite convinced

That our mental intelligence skills can be suppressed

Because of our emotional intelligence skills,

I mean through our emotional intelligence rate.

Negative feelings can deprive children of learning my material.

It is therefore imperative to find the key to effective learning.

What is this thing? Do you have any idea?

Good work, thank you. “Stimulus”.

How do we motivate our students?

There are two ways:

The first is known as the teacher who tames the whip.

Who did not learn my material?

You are?

I will teach you how to learn.

You are a victim of such a teacher.

Yes, I learned the material, but he was not educated,

Was a crowd of information a negative attitude towards them,

I hate that article.

What other ways?

Today I see teachers from the 21st century,

All of you have a child key.

As for me, I think we have to remember

Let us not forget the needs of our children.

In 1991 Tom Hutchinson and Alan Waters

Forward a hexagonal concept of stimulation

It includes six needs that we must satisfy during our lessons:

The need to explore,

The need for practice,

The need for physical and mental activity,

The need for self-expression, the need for knowledge and the promotion of trust.

If you can as a teacher to satisfy at least half of them,

To make sure my students are motivated

To attend my lessons and learn my material.

To follow the right way, when I started a teaching career,

I tried.

The theme is that I am still learning the humanistic approach

For nearly ten years.

The main idea is: we must integrate the positive experience of our students

With the education process, a range of humanitarian tasks have been developed.

Are different because – except for the goal of learning –

I have a goal of feeling, an effective goal

Aimed at developing some of the emotional intelligence skills of my students.

I chose students between the ages of 13 and 14-

You know they often lack motivation,

Adolescents are always so,

The learning experience lasted for one month.

When I compared the pre-experiment results with what followed,

The rate of progress was 15%.

Is not that wonderful?

It was not an academic success

The level of my students’ emotional intelligence skills and their ability to learn.

Here you can see the so-called “scape base”

Which I use in my lessons.

What does Scip mean? Participation, care, acceptance,

Positive thinking and assessment.

We start to be a special environment for our students,

Rule 1: We have to be what?

Acceptance climate.

To create this atmosphere of safety and encouragement, I use the first rule.

Everyone has the right to make mistakes.

When I enter the classroom and say, “I welcome your mistakes where you will be today!”

Their impressions look like: “What?”

What do you mean, crazy teacher, make mistakes?

They laugh, and say: “We do not believe you.”

The problem is that they are treated wrongly,

But after a while, when I change their attitude towards mistakes

As something really necessary to progress,

When they are ready to enter the admissions climate

Their faces will become like this.

“Yes, it’s great, I’m wrong, if I make progress.”

The second rule is the base of the pink elephant.

I have a question: Can any ordinary person

To devour a large pink villa?

If you think you can, raise your hand.

No one thought it possible?

If you think it is not possible, raise your hand.

The answers can vary but they are,

Piece piece every day, delicious and delicious.

Yeah! You will probably do it two months later, maybe a year later,

Maybe two years later, but you will.

I have to set a clear goal, and I have to encourage my students.

“Acceptance climate”

It is about creating the right psychological atmosphere in the classroom.

how can I do that?

I use energy stimuli, enthusiasm, and methods to overcome shyness; I remove stereotypes.

Now you will see one example.

I want you to rhythm.

I often sing rap during my lessons.

The military rap singer, sure you know it: Da Da Da … Du Du …

Well, something like that.

Now I’m going to rap rap in the way of MEC Jason Levine.

Just tell the rhythm.

(Applause with hands and feet)

“The loudspeaker grabbed him, grabbed, grasped, you shook a shaky shake;

Listen to music in my style;

Action, start, start, start,

Listen to the lesson they teach, study it, and teach it. “

That’s it!

(Cheers and applause)

It’s important that most of the time we stay inside a circle.

The point is that rhythm is not important in military rap.

You can sing rap at all and they are encouraged to do so.

They see themselves doing the same thing; team spirit.

Next thing: “Share”.

After creating a climate of acceptance, participation takes its place.

What does this mean?

They share their thoughts and experiences.

They share ideas

They offer the greatest risk for adolescence:

Risk being in their nature.

It is not easy work because you will be afraid

From ridiculing others in your classroom,

But if you create a good acceptance climate, it will not happen.

At first their self-acceptance level grows.

Then grow self-esteem,

Then after that we see some kind of wonderful change happening,

They grow self-confident and are not afraid to speak English.

The last corner we offer to that environment is: “take care”.

Take care of something wonderful, I love him, why?

Because of one thing: “educational interdependence”.

I call it as well. what does it mean?

Peer education strategy cleaner, peer education, peer orientation during my lessons.

They have to be ready.

When they work, for example, when they do projects with each other.

I always apply it in the way that students from different levels participate in a work.

They have their jobs.

When they feel responsible for others,

They are ready to sacrifice their time,

Ready to sacrifice

With some very important things for them,

For example, they cut off some of their hobbies, time for sports, and others.

You can see below “positive thinking” and “assessment”.

Positive thinking is very cool.

What can you see there on the screen?

Do you have any idea?

Yes, point, point of clay.

Oh! any thing else?

Oh, yes, something good, thank you!

When I take a white paper and show it to my students,

Their answers are one.

But in fact,

No one notices the blank page,

They all look at the mud, the small dot in the middle.

Thinking about positive thinking,

We should remember that we have to change our focus.

What do I do? I focus on the strengths of my students.

If cooking classes do that, I do.

If the rap song in my class did it, I would.

If you can dance and sing, do it.

Another important thing to remember

That the responsibility of good self-confidence,

It is not only the responsibility of our school,

It is also the responsibility of the parents.

I worked as a material leader for eight years and I noticed one position.

A very long man, a father, rebukes a child.

He looked like he was saying, “You’re a goat.

Why, why, why did you get two degrees in Biology? “

And the tongue of the child of the cat with shoes [a fairy tale of Charles Peru].

I spoke with that father privately, and I asked him only three questions.

The first question: “Who gives birth to the cow?”

He looked at me: “Cow!”

Yes, man, cow.

“What animal gives birth to horses?”

Now he began to doubt something.

“Horses! Do you think my information in biology is weak?

I do not know anything about horse-breeding. “

The third question was … Can you guess it?

“What animal gives birth to goats?”

Then the features of his face changed.

He described his son a few minutes ago as a goat!

So thinking about what we tell our students is very important.

If they are called “goats”

Two hundred times, they will inevitably think that they are goats,

They will behave according to the stereotypical image that they have placed within them.

Well, “assessment.”

In the assessment, use the sandwich base.

Getting feedback is important to them,

Positive, negative, positive,

But when it is “negative,” I underestimate constructive feedback.

We do not tell them: “The error occurred there, there.”

We usually offer them tips such as:

“I want to do it better, or that side.”

And result in the desired result. I usually do this after a public lecture.

My students usually prepare for public lectures,

And we analyze them after the completion of the dumping.

We focus attention on their progress, focus on the things we love,

And is really a catalyst for them to progress in their collection.

Since talking about the 21st century,

Let us remember, as John Steinbeck said,

That education is one of the greatest arts in the world

Because we are dealing with the human spirit.

Let us remember this and consider it a challenge

To keep the spirit of human feelings and high positive,

And high self-confidence.

In such situations, I usually remember myself

In the words of St. Francis of Assisi who said:

“Start by doing the necessary things,

Then do things possible,

In the end, without warning,

You will discover that you are doing things that are not possible. “

So keep calm and continue in education,

They were a landmark in the 21st century.

Thanks for your attention!

(clap)
