OSHO: The Right to Die

Presents

The Right to Die

What is the responsibility

from a doctor to a patient

who is dying

and no longer wants to live?

Should he help him die?

It is very important

understand it.

In the past…

… in the first days of medicine

and medical science,

nine of the ten children would die

and only one would survive.

The world population

was very scarce.

Hippocrates designed

an oath for doctors.

He was the father of the

Western medicine, allopathy.

Mankind is him

eternally grateful

and his oath was complete

just in that time.

The function of the doctor

was always saving lives.

Life was so heavy,

and saving people

desperately needed in those days.

But times change, needs change ….

books do not change.

Still, in medical colleges

and universities,

becomes the oath of Hippocrates

taken by doctors

before they can practice.

But, that is really stupid.
