I am a spiritual plebiscite
You say that love is liberation.
But your enemies and critics
think of some of the practices
that the movement encourages
seem to be inspired by – Zt. Hefner and Plejboj se
a spiritual leader. What is your reaction to this?
I am a spiritual plebiscite.
Is there anything wrong here?
I call myself Zorb Buda
and that is all the effort of my life:
to bring Zorba and Buddha closer.
I do not want a dichotomy
spirit and material.
I love spirituality and material
as a whole –
so are they.
Sharing
creates
schizophrenia of mankind.
And all religions are criminal in this sense.
They have created cracks in the man:
your body is separate, your soul is separate.
You have to fight the body, you have to stay idle.
Need to fast,
you have to torture your body.
The more you torture, the more spiritual you are.
For me these are just brocula,
simply foolishness.
There is no reason to torture the body,
because body and soul are not two things.
Existence is one.
The body is
the visible spirit,
and the soul is the invisible body –
this is a mystery.
Do not share it and do not
conflict between them.
So when I say “spiritual plebiscite”
I’m not joking.
This is my basic point of view towards life.
What’s wrong with Buddha
dancing at the disco?
It looks so beautiful
a beautiful girl…
and why should Buddha be afraid?
Is not his meditation
strong enough,
and he will withdraw
towards bodily lust?
Is he afraid
how will he turn back from his illumination?
then
he is not at all illumined,
because there is no way to go back.
When it arrives once,
you can not go back.
This is about your inner being.
Where will I turn you back?
When you know once, I know!
Then whatever you do,
that knowledge is always there.
Whatever you do,
that flavor follows you.
And there is no action
which is non-spiritual;
even debauchery is not non-spiritual.
In fact, if lovemaking is non-spiritual,
then any other action
will be non-spiritual.
Love must be
the most spiritual action.
It is so fragile,
so soft.
But religions have created separation,
and have created the saints on one side
who are simply dry bones,
and the other, the sinners.
If I have to choose –
I do not want to choose –
if I had to choose before I would be with the sinners
than with the saints – they are disgusting.
Sinners are at least people of color.
If all sinners go to hell,
then hell should be the most beautiful place in the world.
And paradise must be more ugly,
because all those bones
dry dead,
shaggy faces,
will stay there forever
doing nothing:
without fun,
without jumping, without music, even without football matches –
without Olympic competition;
saints do not participate in such things.
They do not drink,
can not smoke.
What can they do?
only
go to pray and to annoy the Lord.
They must have drowned them earlier.
But
in hell
I can see all the beautiful people of the world.
Lao Cu will be there.
Cuang Cu will be there,
Gotam Buddha will be there –
because he did not believe in God,
he has been atheist.
Bertrand Russell will be there,
Socrates will be there,
Plato and Aristotle of Heraclitus,
all the great painters –
Van Gogu,
Pikaso –
all thinkers
great – Jean Paul Sartre,
Xhaspersi.
Hell will be true society,
and very colorful.
Omar Khajam will be there,
and all
kind of interesting people – all over Hollywood.
All actors, all actors,
all the shoemakers,
all carnivals, circles –
hell should be from the edge to the skirt
an extraordinary pleasure.
But I do not want to choose,
I want them to get involved.
I just want one place
where the saints
can be made alive again,
can begin to breathe,
can start to jump,
can begin to want,
can become a spiritual plebiscite.
