Osho International Foundation introduces
Osho: Selling happiness
Fragments from an interview with KNBC-TV, Los Angjelos, California
Why is it important,
or why it is necessary,
Sell Happiness – Why Can not You Forgive It?
No;
because what is just forgiven
nobody gets it.
The higher the cost,
the better
will keep people it,
to guard them in their treasures.
Free for free
and it is of no value
because
people do not understand value unless
there is a price.
Understand the price,
do not understand the value.
I want you to explain it again
if you can, please
why should happiness be sold
why sell happiness.
Could you give us three more minutes?
I can, but I can not repeat it
what I said; I will say something else.
I do not believe in repetition.
Well then. Give me another theory
why should happiness be sold.
Everything
in this world
must
achieved.
Must pay
a price for it,
and the higher the price it pays for it
the higher your rating for it.
whether
happiness
ecstasy,
joy,
we would have available, like water, for free,
no one
would be able to appreciate their value.
You do not know the true value of water
unless you have caught thirst in the desert.
Alexander was asked
when he was in India,
from
a great master,
“If you are in the desert and thirsty
and I have one
bottles full of water,
how much would you be willing to pay for it? “
Alexander said,
“I would pay him half of my empire
in such a case. “
But the master said, “I will not sell it
until you pay me the whole empire.
Why Sell It?
If you are willing to pay half,
this shows quite a bit
that if I wait only a little,
the customer will feel thirsty
and will pay with the whole empire. “
And Alexander agreed,
“Maybe
I will give the whole empire. “
The master laughed.
“Then what are you doing?
Damaging your life
for a bottle of water?
Are you taken or what?
The world understands
things in their own way.
otherwise,
my happiness is available for free
for anyone
who can evaluate it,
which is sensitive to it,
which is open to take it.
There is no price tag on it.
But those who can not understand anything
unless they pay for it,
For those miserable people
we must put the price of everything.
From compassion.
