Hello.
My name is Paweł, Klikowicz anyway, that’s why I click.
Well, I will tell you not how I do this transplantation,
how I promote it,
but about what happened in my life that I’m doing it.
Because when we talk about changes, something important in our lives,
the first such change took place very long after the war.
Whereas my grandfather from the father’s side was in the name of Klukowicz,
but there was a census and somebody rushed, just, and clicked.
So yes – I adapted to these realities, thanks to changes,
to which I had no influence and look more or less like this.
So I just sit and click, so I’m.
This caused that the man started to function quite differently.
I created a story for myself, because I know, I click,
I promote transplants, I’m in social media,
I go, visit, get to know, talk, but it all comes from somewhere.
Where from?
I started studying in October 2004.
I went to the Medical Academy in Gdańsk and started to study medical analytics,
additionally, I started to play in the student government,
get to know different things, organize parties, meetings,
to go to scientific conferences.
I started to live as a young man who did not know yet
he was looking for his own place on earth.
Studies were the moment when you can actually experience-get to know.
The third change, probably one of the most important ones so far,
It was December 21, 2006, when my father died.
The tragic situation has changed me for sure,
however, it did not change the fact that I wanted to carry on,
seek my path, your self.
And only thanks to my mother who said:
“Paul, do what you want, what do you think is right”,
in October I started new studies.
As you can see, I started something over, public health.
Someone told me, “Paul, you’ve lost three years of life.
Well, why?
You had to finish that study. “
Well, I realized that at some point it was not fun to me,
I was not satisfied, it was not something I wanted to do.
It hurt me, I returned to certain memories, I had conditions, repetitions.
Something happened that broke me and I said, “Okay, I’ll start something new.”
The public health direction opened, which gave me the opportunity to develop.
I’m doing my doctorate today,
I work a little bit scientifically, I go, I do something in my life again,
but this most important change in 2006 meant that I stopped being afraid of changes,
I know that life tomorrow may be quite different
and that it’s really not worth it to attach so much to it,
just let yourself be carried away a little this life,
get caught up in it and do something you want.
It was said earlier that the work of 8 hours is something tragic.
I will say that I am lucky, I do something that I love, what I like.
I work 24 hours a day, but I really have it deep somewhere, because I know
that I do what I love in my heart, it really makes me happy
and I can do it even longer, but again thinking about some changes,
about something that can be changed further.
2007, October-November.
I was offered to co-create the Dawca.pl campaign.
It was the moment when people I met earlier
at work in the student government, they said:
“Listen, we’re starting a project like this, would not you like to drive it?”
It was a great time, it was the moment when I got my project, I said:
This is a nice thought, I will start doing it, but do it in a non-standard way.
I did not want to do another, ordinary campaign saying:
“Give back organs, become a donor.”
I wanted to create something that will move several hundred thousand people,
what in space will start to live, function, it will be a living idea,
living people who will say, “Yes, I am a giver,
I want to donate these organs, do it too! “
And there came a thought that I always try to follow:
“Think positively, act creatively.”
This is something that really turns me on, because every change – there are doubts.
Every change says: “Think about whether or not to be sure”,
but I always say to myself that you have to think positively,
constructively, act creatively, look for different ways.
Therefore, the Donors did what they did.
We have come to the point where we are now,
because we always try to think creatively.
We had no money for any activity,
for any big TV campaigns,
but we tried to dress the subject of transplantology in this way,
that he would be interesting,
that we can create what I will show you later.
The next change is February 2010, because for three years we were “filming” the campaign
in a rather unusual way.
We were doing actions, we were going to Warsaw,
we traveled by tram, in shopping malls, all for it,
to attract the attention of traditional media in a non-standard way,
because then they were the most important.
To appear on TV, to be in Wiadomości,
in Teleexpress or on the radio, it was the most important moment.
And in 2010, Facebook appeared and then we set up a fanpage.
The first fanpage, I remember today when I had the first 100 fans,
these are my friends, then a thousand appeared,
I was refreshing the whole day and another F5, I was watching what was going on.
That’s how we came to a thousand, up to ten thousand
and it was going on all the time.
There were new social media: Twitter, which we started to use,
Instagram, to which we upload photos, Youtube, where we start to throw
our campaign spots, we also have Snapchata,
we support, Periscope, Google Plus and so on.
Interestingly, I’m doing it all.
I do not know how, I can not tell you
but I manage to do it, I manage to “spin” it.
Perhaps because I have a phone with me all the time
and internet on your phone.
This is the most important thing: no limits.
I will not say what network, because there will be an advertisement,
but actually it is so that I work all the time,
but again I come back to this,
[that] it gives me great fun and satisfaction,
that I can answer someone’s question, like a photo, I can say:
“Great that you are with us, that you are building awareness with us
Polish society, precisely in the field of transplantology “.
These are the numbers of more or less what I have done, so recently
I summarized.
Over 117 thousand club members.
So many people have registered in the Dawca.pl campaign,
ordered a declaration of will, he wears Dracz.pl armbands with us.
117 thousand club members, a brilliant number.
We have Facebook, the largest fanpage in the world that promotes transplantation,
from what I remember 443,000, but this number goes up all the time.
These are people who enjoy our content every day,
they upload photos, comment, and share them.
See how it has been through this time, thanks to love, commitment,
and a cool idea to encourage others to promote transplantation.
We have Instagrama, where we have 20 several thousand followers.
One of the largest profiles on Instagram.
Only DKMS and WOŚP are ahead of us.
We’re in the top Polish three NGOs,
non-governmental organizations, thanks to again:
passion, commitment, willingness to change the world around us.
Twitter, the same: something new appeared, you had to adapt.
There was a change, we say okay, we go in, we do, we’re looking for a way,
a certain idea, how to do it effectively.
Personally, I coordinated dozens of different projects,
from scratch building to the final effect
and I will tell you honestly: this was the greatest adventure of life.
It is so far because I am aware that in every project
there is some part of me that left a piece of my heart in this project
and that’s why he was successful because he was authentic.
Because it was not a marketing product, everything went from here to heart
and from the head that said, “Okay, let’s do it in a way that’s different.”
I conducted workshops, gave interviews.
There was still me in Radio Maryja, Television Trwam, Republika Television
Good Morning TVN did not invite me, but it’s nothing, there is still time.
I hope that it will succeed and I will accomplish it [it].
Because I have such a small dream to be everywhere to talk.
And it happened that thanks to my name is Klikowicz,
I click for transplantology, but the question is: do you click?
Who uses social media,
hand up!
Who clicks for the sake of someone else, general?
Already fewer people, well.
Because you have possibilities.
It’s you, thanks to social media, you can click, you can save,
you can help.
Pajacyk who associates?
Who clicks?
Well, let’s continue.
Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity?
Who knows who supports who pushes?
Who shares content on social media?
You really have the real power to change the world around you,
not only in the subject of transplantology, but for example, for example
Polish Humanitarian Action – you can support.
You also have Amnesty International, where you can support important legal ideas,
you can Greenpeace, Love the Forest, you can adopt a bee,
after all it is also extremely important,
just click and transfer a few zlotys,
to adopt your bee family.
And to be, and support, and carry out some important tasks.
You can also support initiatives like Helping You,
that is, to support the collection for the treatment of women, men and children.
And it’s beautiful that you really wield this power in your hands.
And if you really think that you have no influence on anything
and that you are hopeless, you can always
after death, donate organs, right?
It’s totally free.
Change – as already mentioned, the change causes another change.
And just as I’ve tried to briefly tell you about my life,
each subsequent change was building something else.
She showed some possibilities, dear.
You can use them or not, but this change brings something new.
It is not always perfect, beautiful.
There are challenges, problems that have to be addressed,
but the change really makes us realize ourselves,
we become mature, we learn from our mistakes.
I also made a lot of mistakes in my life.
I know that if I went back in time, he did something differently, better, more accurately,
but it’s always the experience that causes it in the future
I will not do anything like that anymore, or else I will do it differently.
That’s why I encourage you to do this
that you think positively, act creatively,
they changed the reality that surrounded you, they went to battle
and finally, I wish you a tasty,
because I know you are already waiting for lunch and are hungry.
And like something, I’m at your disposal, later, after the party.
I’m just begging you, do not come to me for liver, because I do not have them.
Also in moderation, drink, hello!
